I got this to replace my aging Acer, which could no longer be updated. It has most of the features that I had loved but not the combination of the backlit keyboard and touch screen (I had to give up the touch screen). Its more sleek than the previous model but doesnt seem as sturdy. The screen seems unstable/flexible when opening it such that I feel like if I pulled up on only one corner, I could crack it (at the hinges or the screen itself).

I rarely do reviews on products I buy. However, this product deserves a recommendation. I bought this machine for my wife, whose old machine had become too slow. While Intel processors are still the top of the line this AMD processor-based PC is a very good machine. For the price, it is a great buy.

I do not typically review purchases, but someone needs to discuss the poor quality on this Acer.

Acer advertises that you can put a hard drive in the laptop. You can put a hard drive in the laptop. However, the connector on the mother board will not hold the ribbon cable down to make a good connection, therefore, the hard drive will not get recognized by the system.

I think for 350-400 this laptop is probably one of the best you could find, especially considering its size. Im not sure how people are having trouble switching out of S mode, but I did it in literal seconds (for free, no clue how people are getting messages they have to pay) after I was able to access the desktop so thats a complete non-issue. It also looks a bit more expensive than it is which is cool I guess.

I love my laptop easy to use.

DONT upgrade the RAM! if you buy an extended warranty ASURION will weasel their way out of fixing it

I got this for work because I needed a second computer and WOW this laptop is easy to set up, size is great, and the keyboard lights up!

Great price, great product. No glitches, no delays. Screen has clear and clean color. It moves rapidly from site to site. I guess my only complaint would be the small keys. I make a lot of typing errors. This comp was my choice and I am adapting. I have experienced no negatives so far at all. I highly recommend it.
