Excelente equipo, sigue teniendo altas temperaturas pero ya no son un problema como en versiones anteriores del nitro 5

So looking at the reviews, I was pretty afraid that the laptop would be DOA.

The laptop was not turing on, however you a different charger of the same brand and it came on and is working fine now

Im seeing a lot of DOA comments. I thought this at first too but the power cable is a bit deceptive. Once you put the plug in the laptop, you have to push with a bit of force and youll hear a click. That click indicates a connection.

I personally did a RAM upgrade, threw in an additional nvme I had lying around, and installed Manjaro Linux.

Everything about the laptop was good except, within less than two weeks of having it, it had issues reading the hard drive and now comes up with the error, no bootable devices, and will not turn on. Thankfully getting a refund because its been less than 30 days, but I would be much more upset if it went past that window.

had problems turning it on initially. if it fails to turn on during setup give it 15 minutes and try again. this is a day 1 bad mood review.

Excellent cost-benefit rate. It does include some bloat (Planet9) and a bunch of trial or 30-day software licenses as usual but they can be removed easily. Cooling system has shown no issues, but using a cooling base, at least for ergonomics, is recommended.
