Needs to be plugged in to run any game with decent quality. Once it is plugged in, the laptop usually will overheat and shut down and restart. This problem even persists WITH the use of external fans. Unfortunately it is impossible to play anything without your device being plugged in or it will drain the battery completely in less than an hour. I was really excited for this laptop and apparently even my 1 year warranty cannot help me out with this issue. The sad truth is to enjoy anything fun you need to waste your money on problems that shouldnt exist in my opinion. It was a good laptop for a little under a year though. What prompted my review is it overheating on me 3 times within a span of 40 minutes. Im very disappointed in myself for not researching further before choosing this device.

Im not a computer expert by any means, but this laptop is beautiful and the quality and processing speed are better than any other computer Ive ever owned. The back lit keyboard is also a nice touch

Purchased September 2020. The graphics card would crash and force a restarts. Stopped powering on via battery or power cable May 2021. Sent it back for repairs and when it returned the sound card doesn’t work and now windows will not boot.

I have had this laptop since july22 since the day I got it I have kept it on a 4 inch high cooling rack with all external peripheral monitor mouse etc. Well the fan quit working in the back and now have to wait 20+ days for a fix this is crazy and I cant just get a refund it has to be fixed this computer was my job so now Im out of work thanks acer

The first unit I received had a W key that would jam every time you pressed it. My replacement model had the worst backlight screen bleed I have ever seen on any IPS display. I just cant recommend a product when I am sent two lemons back to back.

Its a nice laptop for gaming..

I dont know where to start. This last issue, the audio has stopped working. They have customer service reps but they are not always able to help with functionality.

From opening and closing the laptop various times the wire for the video camera fails if you don’t have it at a certain viewing angle. I didn’t do my research properly but the video camera wire is notorious for failing in this particular modal.
