Easy to trace, a must have item!

Mine already dont work... only used it a handful of times. However, the company reached out to me to resolve my problem and has since offered to replace it. So far I am very pleased with my experience... ...sent a new device in place of the defective unit. 5 star customer service

Very nice tester. The ability to apply power and/or ground to whatever you are testing is great. That feature makes quick work out of testing relays, bulbs, motors. Especially useful when testing power windows. It is a little bigger than its competition, the power probe, but significantly cheaper. I recommend having two of these. That makes some diagnosis even quicker. I am pulling one star because the power/ground cable does not have a strain relief and will bend quite a bit where it enters the tester. Over time that will cause cable breakage. By the way, the touch metal is for turning on the tip illumination. Touch the short ground lead to it and the illumination comes on. Another handy feature.

Enabled me to diagnose car power window. Window would not go up. Was able to use short jumper wire/ground to window motor and use this tool as power probe to actuate motor to ra it se window. Awaiting new master switch to complete repair. Best $20 spent in a tool!

My children bought me a Power Probe as a gift a while back and it was amazing. I wanted a less expensive tool like it I could take for mobile repair work. This has done everything I’ve needed. Like Power Probe, it has an auxiliary ground and has a momentary switch to supply power. Very handy. It paid for itself with the first use.

For the money, perfect. One poke and I knew what I needed to replace. Device was getting voltage which the probe makes a sound and light. I sent voltage to force it, and nothing. 2 minutes to hook up and test to get my answer, great product.
