The only way in my experience with this fan to get decent air movement is on MEDIUM or HIGH speeds. But MEDIUM and HIGH speeds are quite noisy -- too loud to operate in an occupied bedroom at sleep time, or family room while watching TV. On LOW the fan loudness is OK, but it hardly seems to move much air volume on LOW. For the price this fan looks good, and may fit your budget. Sadly I will need to pay more for a different brand fan, to get much more air volume movement with lower loudness.

I bought this particular fan based on an Amazon review. I was under the impression that it was loud, it is not loud. In fact, on the highest setting you can barely hear it. I wanted it to drown out the noise at night so that I could sleep better. If you are looking for a loud fan, this is not it.

Works awesome

The rounded edges on this fan make it very difficult to put in a window and hold there. Also since it doesnt fit well, it kept falling out of the window and eventually one of the fan blades snapped off. Would not recommend, and just get one of the boxier options instead.

Not very powerful compared to other options in this price range

The level three speed on this….is the level one speed on a Lasko 20 inch box fan and this was only two dollars cheaper. I’m not happy about it. Only decent thing was easy to assemble. I am hoping this fan will tie me over for the summer. It’s blowing air and doing its job. Thanks.

Fan does not move a lot of air. Fine for basic low speed and medium. But High speed does not seem to move as much air as previous box fans.

Works well. Would buy it again. The feet keep it from falling over on high.
