Greater than one weekThis CPU packs a heavy six-core punch at such low price. I was saving up since some time for my PC upgrade (from A8-7600). Resisted my urge when AMD launched Ryzen 1st Gen assuming that 2nd Gen would pack a lot of improvement looking at AMDs zeal.

> 3 dayAbsolutely fantastic product in terms of processing power at an affordable price, especially for building your own PC. Above and beyond expectations. However, the stock Wraith Stealth cooler that was included came defective. After installing the processor, applying the cooler was easy but something clearly did not work in terms of the spring assisted screws (on a compatible motherboard). After running the new machine the idling temperature was way too hot, at around 74 degrees.

> 3 dayI replaced a 10 year old Core 2 Duo based system with a rig that sports the Ryzen 5 2600 at its core. After reading reviews, benchmark data, power usage data, etc. I decided I would finally give AMD a try. I used to shy away from AMD because there wouldnt be enough of a price differential in AMDs favor to justify moving to AMD. I have no regrets replacing my media server with this solution and heres why:

> 3 dayBought this for a budget gaming PC. Slotted in easy enough (watch the install video, it shows you how to align the cpu with the board) and the cooler wasnt much harder to install.
