AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

C’est un monstre de puissance rien ne lui résiste je ne regrette vraiment pas de l’avoir acheté je n’arrive même pas a le saturer c’est pour dire ! pour ma part je l’ai watercoolé avec une RTX 3090 FE et je ne dépasse pas les 55-60 degrés en pleine charge.

I ignorantly decided on the 5900X as I felt having more cores for relatively the same amount of $$$ of the 5800X 3D, made more sense. I was wrong as the 5800X 3D, made specifically for gaming, which is what I use my new rig for, exclusively for gaming, and specifically for Flight Sim.

After a week I would have constant crashes. Popped everything out and still had crashes with the 5900x. Popped my 3600 in and the WHEA bsods were a thing of the past. Customer support wasnt very helpful either, they just told me to return it and buy it again. On top of that, it took forever to return my money

I like that it is a faster cpu than my old one. I DISLIKE that it showed up with the box half crushed. I see many other reviewers had this problem. I will no longer order electronics from amazon!!!

First I will start with the (very) minor con, its warm. Like really warm. I went from a Ryzen 7 1700 on a high end air cooler that barely went to 70 degrees C.

its a 5900x and it does its job well not much more to say really.

For gaming, its overkill, unless you play heavy multiplayer game that requires lots of processing while communicating with servers. For rendering and things alike, no stutter and the PC experience is super smooth. If youre a heavy content creator or professional artist alike, this CPU does the job done for a very good price.

Its absurd that with similar RAM, same GPU, pcie 4.0 vs 3.0 ssd, and this cpu vs a 5930k on x99 instead 5900x on x570 crosshair viii dark hero is such a large difference. Not only is it wickedly faster it actually sleeps properly without waking itself up every time for 6 years.

I was one of the lucky few to order and receive this CPU and its everything the reviewers said it was. The performance is incredible and with a 280mm AIO, my temps idle around 50c and tops at 76c. This is with PBO kicking most cores above 4900 and the remaining 3-4 above 4800 MHz.
