AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

After 10 years I finally upgraded my system from an AMD 8350 to a Ryzen 9 5900. The Ryzien 9 5950 was 300CAD more expensive, so I went with the 5900.

Fried my board. Died in a week and I still haven’t gotten my refund Amazon is telling me to wait one month this is bs don’t buy it

had a ryzen 7 2700x it was running bad, couldnt edit 4k after applying something simple.. color correction.. it would lag the play back.. the ryzen 9 5900x is awesome handles new blue fx, smooth playback, helped with running FL Studio due to high use of vstis

Its really good cpu, can pretty much run anything at max settings for gaming purposes, it handles everything like a feather and use of 12 cores is plenty enough for generation to come.

Bit of an over kill for my system, for the amount of stuff I use it for.

Upgraded from a Ryzen 5 and runs all my applications and games with ease. Had to upgrade the cooler on the CPU since this thing pushes out more power. Got it on sale and I’m happy with it.
