For gaming, its overkill, unless you play heavy multiplayer game that requires lots of processing while communicating with servers. For rendering and things alike, no stutter and the PC experience is super smooth. If youre a heavy content creator or professional artist alike, this CPU does the job done for a very good price.

So I ordered this cpu it came in and was a faulty cpu, I’ve started the return process also returned another item as well, got my money back for the aio but not the cpu…rather upsetting both items should have showed up at the same time would like to know what I’m suppose to do about this situation.

Provengo da un 7300x che riuscivo a tenere a bada con un semplice NH-U12A ma qui non basta. Provato un D15 dopo poco tempo sono passato ad un AIO, a meno che non lavoriate con un test bench scordatevi di tenerlo a bada e di non incorrere prima o poi nel throttling. Se guarderete Ryzen Master tutto sembrerà ok ma andando a vedere i dettagli del TDie avrete delle brutte sorprese. Questa CPU è spaventosa sotto tutti gli aspetti sia di prestazioni che di gestione. La utilizzo prevalentemente per editing in DaVinci e i tempi di rendering si sono quasi dimezzati rispetto a prima. Per quanto riguarda il gaming sicuramente vi aiuterà a spremere qualche FPS in più, ma come detto il vero problema sono le temperature che richiedono davvero un ottimo sistema di raffreddamento, un case aeroso e una posizione del pc che permette di ricevere sempre aria fresca.

I dont even know what I can do with this kind of power. Games like Factorio that use to take 10s or so to save and load with large worlds, now do so almost instantly and I havent even overclocked it yet.

This CPU is a beast.
