17-04-2025The glass is really clear (not cloudy like some other brands) and its great that the level line is marked off (makes measuring the amount for water tests super foolproof). I also bought some cheap plastic pipettes so that I disturb the tanks as little as possible, but more so because its really easy to fill up these tubes to the line with the precision of a pipette. The caps fit snugly and Im never worried about any leakage while shaking up the chemicals with the water during testing. To clean, I just run it through some warm water after Im finished with the testing and the tubes are as good as new again. Great product and I love testing my aquariums water quality with this more precise method.

Greater than one weekof course these are great but I (or anyone I know) would ever need 24?! Should really make a smaller box. I only wanted a few extras since I broke one of my own. Also there was no bubble wrap around them. This box was thrown into a large amazon box. I have no idea how none of them managed to break.

> 3 dayI got these extra API Test Tubes because I have 3 tanks to do water tests. All 24 pieces of tubes are intact. Non are broken from the delivery. One downfall I noticed is one new tube I used lightly leaks from shacking the tube. That’s why I have extras! Overall, they are worth it!

> 3 dayI have the API Freshwater Master Test Kit, which comes with 4 test tubes. I do test for all five parameters on my potentially overstocked tanks before and after water changes. Having these extra test tubes makes it easier for me as I do not have to wash out my test tubes as I am conducting my testing on my tanks. Also, I have a before and after standard available to me for straight comparison. I tried using various vials and such (free stuff) to do my water tests, but the colour comparison with the API chart is best visible using API standardized test tubes. I would recommend that every aquarist/fishkeeper get themselves a set of these test tubes. Makes life a lot simpler.
