Very easy to type on and very light weight.

It’s literally just like a computer I can’t love this enough I was debating between keeping the iPad and getting me a MacBook but this is just like a computer and wine I really do love it

I started with the Apple folio keyboard for $169. I cant understand how it could be valued at that price. So flimsy, mushy, and seems so cheap. The Apple Magic Keyboard added about $100 over the cost of the folio. Amazon had the best price. Yes, it is very pricy, which is why I started with the folio. But what a difference. Its the right device for getting the most out of an iPad in my opinion. This 11 version is perfect for my very small female hands, but Im well aware it might be too small for most men and women whose hands and fingers need more space. But other than the size, Im told the keyboards for both the 11 and 12.9 are identical. The trackpad and backlighting are as good or better than on my laptop. The touch is responsive and solid and lends itself to accurate typing without frustration. Phew! The type C USB charging port on the keyboard charges both the iPad and keyboard together. Now, I have to say I was at first excited about the folio because it was so lightweight. For travel, I value lightweight! The Magic Keyboard adds about a pound, which is significant when carrying over the shoulder in a purse or adding to a carry-on. Not what I thought I wanted, but now I know its well worth it to me. I can still get a much less expensive third-party keyboard for travel if I decide to, but Im returning the folio for sure.

Cant imagine my iPad without it. Previously had the smart keyboard case, which worked fine, but freedom of screen movement and Trackpad integration is amazing.

Some keys stop working 3 months after purchase. For the price, i expect it to hold up longer.

Pro:

I could not justify buying this for the original $300 price. I snatched it for $200. I use this thing all the time. It’s very nice quality, very sturdy.
