Ich war auf der Suche nach einer vernünftigen Ergänzung zu meinem Desktop-Gaming-PC und ein iPad Pro 2018 hatte ich bereits und ich dachte schon über ein zusätzliches Macbook nach und habe nun in diesem Tastatur-Case denke ich das Optimum gefunden. Meistens nutze ich doch das iPad im Tabletmodus und wenn ich nen Notebook brauche aber meinen Haupt-PC beibehalten will ist dies die ideale Kombination. Ob es dadurch einen PC komplett ablösen kann kommt ganz auf die persönlichen Bedürfnisse an. Ich wollte nicht auf nen vernünftiges Dateisystem verzichten aber wer ohne das kann der kann auch mit iPad und dieser Tastatur sicher als Stand-Alone-Lösung glücklich werden. Wer daran denke diese Tastatur ständig in Kombination mit dem iPad zu nutzen sollte lieber nen Macbook nehmen.

In my humble opinion, the product is perfect in all ways but one: it does not rotate enough when opened. It rotates only as far as the pictures show and no more. It would receive a five-star rating from me if it were able to rotate the iPad upwards just a bit more so use of the Apple Pencil would be easier.

I accidentially ordered two and the company would not take one back. Very disappointed.

I treated myself to this when embracing the “replace a laptop” movement. It works great, looks great, feels great, battery lasts well (turn down the brightness in iPad general settings when you don’t need it), and I make very good and regular use of it. The iPad in my case has now replaced home laptop (granted, I’m not a heavy user). Job done and I’m very pleased. Apple make quality products.

Main advantage of this keyboard+mouse is its easy to carry around and brings in a whole new dimension of usage for my iPad Pro which I have been mostly using only for reading books and scribbling with apple pencil. Trackpad integration is pretty much flawless and its reduced size didnt really bother me much. Feel I can finally untap the processor power of my 2018 iPad Pro with this case ! Boot up time is faster, apps open lot faster and typing experience pretty good that Im not missing my MBP except for heavy weight usage like FinalCut pro, Logic pro, OBS etc that needs more ports and monitors. Most of mac keyboard shortcuts work fine here. Face-id authentication instead of MBPs touch-id is cool too. Mapped caps-lock to esc key so I dont miss it. Overall, boosts productivity of a power user.
