Astra has gone downhill. Not what it used to be. Stick with Feather blades. Much better.

I bought several brands to compare and these performed the worst by far. On the first shave, they felt like other blades do after 6 or 7 seven shaves like merkur.

High quality good price. You just have to decide how you feel about the P&G thing and/or the whole Russian thing.

Astra have a great reputation for making quality blades and these are no different. I have been using these blades for about 3 years, mostly for shaving my face, and I have found nothing better. They are sharp and well made. Check who you are buying from on Amazon to make sure you don’t get counterfeits. I ordered from Super Safety Razors and can verify that they are authentic Astra blades. Overall great blades and you will save a lot of money rather than buying disposable razors.

Sharp enough to get cuts if I’m in a hurry and strong enough to last a few days. I have thick... hair growth, gift and curse. When compared to 5 bladed Gillette razors, I use 2-3 of those in a week... that means $$$. With astra, I swear I use 2-3 blade weeks. I do use a cheap safety razor to clean. In conclusion I use two razors to shave... it super cheap.
