Astra Superior Platinum Double Edge Shaving Razor Blades 100 Pcs Barber Favored by Astra

I tried other brands and ended up with bad razor burn on my face. These blades have never let me down. I can get away with using them up to two weeks. One of these 100 packs lasted me a good 2 years. Extremely happy with this purchase and the savings I get with using these blades.

I’m sure these razors will be fine, but they came labeled as “made in Russia”. Would not have bought them, had I known that in advance.

This is my daily blade, although I have light brown hair so my beard isnt the toughest. Less than a dime for 3-4 shaves for me. I dont care where they are made, they work for me.

As smooth as it gets!

3 years have gone by since I switched from using Gillettes 5 bladed razor to a safety razor. Over the years their prices crept up to the point that I found it unsustainable. I tried Dollar club, Henrys, and just about any other company out there. Nothing compared to Gilletes 5 bladed razor for comfort and closeness. The only problem I had is that if I skipped a day or 2 my stubble hurt to shave. Then I remembered my father and how he used safety blades. Someone told me they could shave much closer and comfortably, even quicker with a safety razor. I watched Youtube videos and had to relearn to shave. After a small learning curve and some nasty cuts I got the technique down. Then I started trying to figure out which blade is the best for me. After a few months of trying just about everything I came across these blades. They are fantastic. They last me a whole year, even more during Covid lockdowns when I didnt shave as often. The one drawback for me with safety razors is getting close enough below the nose without a nasty chunk taken off. The backblade of the gillette 5 is much better at this. So I use both but now the gillete last a full year before I have to change a single cart. Its also much faster and enjoyable to shave this way. Newer isnt always better.

Good enough

These are very good razor blades, theyre very sharp, hold their edge and produce a close comfortable shave. Ive tried many types of razor blades including the vaunted Feather blades, in my opinion Astra is every bit as good as Feather but at a fraction of the cost.

I never had blades that were as comfortable as these. They shave beautifully and completely, but you barely know you are shaving. Superior all the way
