Astro EUROHV105 EuroPro Forged HVLP Spray Gun with 1.5mm Nozzle and Plastic Cup

This spray gun works really good. It has a nice spray pattern and it atomizes paint really good. The quality of this unit is nice, and I think it will last a long time. I would definitely recommend this gun to anyone.

I am not a professional but I dont need to be one to know this is a quality spray gun. For the occasional painter like me this gun does exactly what I needed it to do. For epoxy primers and polyester finish coats, the 1.5mm tip is just right. Maybe the 1.7 would have been faster but this gun lays down the product very smooth. I installed a new main air line oil water separator and I put a mini separator at the gun along with a regulator. Line pressure is set at 90 psi and the gun pressure is set at 30 psi. This gives me a 6-7 pound pressure drop and delivers paint at 23 psi. Perfect. Very little overspray. With a fan blowing in my shop, I am not so sure I need a cartridge mask but I always wear one and you should to. I only mentioned that to emphasize how little over spray there is. Great product at a very reasonable price. Wish I had a second one with a 2.1mm tip for lacquer primer.

This is a great gun that I have used several times now - nothing like the cheap chinese guns that fall apart in a few hours. Works perfectly after cleaning. I advise however that you make sure to filter your paint before pouring it into the cup or you will clog the small filter at the base of the cup very quickly.I am spraying house latex paint that has been thinned with water about 30%. It will not spray unthinned latex well.

I consider myself a novice painter and I was able to lay down clear with little to no orange peel with this gun. Do hesitate to buy. I sprayed the first coat @29psi dropping down to 15psi for the next two coats.

For a novice and someone looking to get into painting, well worth it

Sprays nice. Not a huge air hog. Fan is a little smaller than Im used to but seems to be laying metallics and peals nice. Good value

Phenomenal clear gun. I retired a Sata Jet 5000 RP in favor of this gun.

used it to finish up a project after using another gun I was not pleased with. I sprayed clear over the basecoat and walked away------still looks great without polishing it. I would recommend this gun to any of my friends who are beginners/novices or who regularly paint their own projects. ts

Bought for home use in my garage. When used with clean air its a peach!
