When was time to replace my wifes laptop., she said it didnt matter what got her as long as the keyboard was backlit. That was my primary search and the description said it had a backlit keyboard but it does NOT. She is older and has a hard time seeing the keys. It is light weight and much faster than her old computer but I would not have bought it for her if I had known the keyboard was not backlit.

Pretty good product. One time the screen kind of went crazy but that hasn’t happened in a few months. Overall so far so good

It was time for an upgrade, the finger scanner and the number pad are awesome. I love ASUS products and I was not disappointed with this one. The speakers are ok, the backlit keyboard is great and the price is not bad at all, the battery life is eh… would recommend.

I use this mainly to download and read the local paper, read e-mail, and surf the web. Does all of the tasks very well. If youre looking for a general purpose laptop, Id highly recommend it.

SSD died after casual use for less than 1 year. Going to have to buy a new one, replace myself and reinstall Windows. Extremely unfortunate how little life this laptop actually had for the money spent.

The charger shorted out/stopped working the 3rd day after we recieved the computer. The first replacement I bought on Amazon didnt fit, despite an assurance it would. ASUS should spend an extra dollar or two on their charge cords if this is not an isolated incident.

Excellent. I love this laptop

The tuch pad needs to be moved to the left or right why this hasnt been done all ready some one needs to think about that.
