Really a good machine for my light gaming college age daughter doing premed.

This laptop seemed like a bargain, but it has presented a number of problems. The biggest issue is that one of the keys has broken repeatedly, and ASUS support tells me the only thing I can do is send it in. For one key, which Ive already replaced.

I’ve had this laptop for about 15 months and it’s stopping working not charging and not turning on and what do you know right after the warranty is up. I tried to get in touch with asus however the only ‘support’ option that I could actually talk to a human being was going to charge me $80. So I can’t even discuss my warranty without swiping my credit card again. Terrible and will not buy another asus product. When I did have the laptop it worked okay for simple web browsing but would also freeze and reload pages whenever a page had a video in the web page, it would also occasionally freeze and crash.

Good price-point for this lightweight, very portable, full-featured laptop. Nice choice for a high school student

Touchscreen stopped working. I cannot find out how to turn it back on.

Nothing can make you feel like a relic from the past faster than trying to learn to use these sleek new laptops after having been a desktop model only nerd for too many years. My fingers are too clunky, the keys are definitely not where I expected to find them, and the backspace key is my new best friend. Actually, I never thought Id cross over to a laptop at all because they were too compressed and I am way to old to want to tackle muscle memory lessons on where to find the keys.
