Had higher hopes for this. Seemed to be a solid machine tell i found out the cpu/gpu has been undervolted. Not only can it barely do any gaming it has a random restart bug.

Absolute scam! Read all the reviews before purchasing it’s definitely too good to be true. Extremely disappointed in Asus.

To be transparent, I bought the version of this with Ryzen 3. It was plenty fast for office productivity and online use. HOWEVER, after only a week, I had to return it to the local retailer where I purchased it. I had to call ASUS three times in one day when the screen dimmed so much on battery that it was not going to be usable. The fix they walked me through worked for the screen, but deleted the battery icon in the task bar. I called a second time and the original problem with the screen returned. The third call finally took care of it. Then, a new problem cropped up, I kept getting an alert that it couldnt connect to my network and I had to let diagnostics fix it each time I logged on. I called ASUS for the fourth time and they walked me through a fix and said it should work fine. The problem, however, remained and I am not going to go through network diagnostics every time I log onto a new computer. There were also other problems: a touchpad that was so sensitive it was always minimizing the window, it had a really fragile power pack that got super hot, and the speakers worked fine for music but speaking voices were inaudible. Im really disappointed. The price was right, but it was the only thing that was. There were just too many problems in the first week that it did not bode well for the life of this product. I wondered if I got a lemon, and should give them another chance, but after my experience, and reading the negative reviews here I have been scared away from ASUS.

Nice screen resolution, pretty quick response, lightweight which is great and the sound isnt too bad. Would recommend this laptop.

The item is like in the description and works great!! it is like a basic computer, the screen it is not the best, but for that price I think it just fine, has a decent performance, came with 4 GB integrated and you can add up to 16 GB in single module to have a total of 20, In my case I change the 4 GB module for an 8 GB module for a total of 12, it is pretty fast, some came with M.2 SATA but it supports NVMe,

It may be a Windows 10 issue but the internet shuts down on me all the time - had to research how to get it out of certain modes; the screen saver will not work. Its frustrating that simple things dont work when you buy a brand new computer for regular home use.

Bought this laptop for my wife, to replace her old Core I5 desktop. This is a superb laptop, very fast with its 5-core Ryzen processor. Swapped SSD with a 500GB and bumped memory to 16M and this thing is considerably faster. Also, this thing isnt loaded up with bloatware, so it runs very well right out of the box. I reimaged it with Win10 Pro instead of Home, for more security. Bought a USB-C dock station to clean up the cables, discovered that the USB-C port doesnt push external video. Be aware of that if you intend to use the USB port for external video.
