When I received the Auvon pill case and unwrapped it from its packing I noticed that the lid seemed a little loose. When I opened it from the front, the back hinges popped right off. They werent obviously broken but look like they may have been malformed. The top lid on the main case just doesnt say on. If you flip the case over, it falls right off. Each of the individual daily pill cases are fine but using this as a whole unit for the week isnt great with the top case constantly falling off.

Exactly what I expected and meets my needs. Plus it looks sleek compare to a lot of pill organizers.

I have another pill organizer that the individual days can be separated but it is awkward and they easy become separated from the older. That is not the case with this one. The individual days can be take with you but then they are housed in a clam shell that keeps them security together. The plastic seems to be of a thick good quality that snaps security closed. Everything is clearly labeled which is very nice. My only caveat is that this may be a little difficult to open for someone with neuropathy in their fingers (or other ailmants that limit finger dexterity) but not for anyone else.

As someone who takes a lot of pills, I love organizers that have removable day compartments. These are easy to get in and out and thin enough to be carried in a pocket (of a jacket - my pants never have pockets but thats a separate complaint). The entire pillbox is about the size of a paperback book and for having plastic closures, they stay pretty securely closed. I inadvertently dropped the pillbox and it didnt open. I did also notice that the pillbox is recyclable.

I have been searching for a new pill organizer that I can take with me on-the-go. Ive purchased several and I think I found one that I will be using. The one I am reviewing today is a good organizer... I just dont think it is right for me. There is really nothing wrong with it. Its simply too big. Just like the picture shows, you have 7 smaller pill boxes inside one large case showing the days of the week. Each box is organized into two compartments (day/night). If you arent going to be home, you can slip that day out of the main box and take it with you. Its convenient in that way. Everything closes and secures with a positive snap, but nothing is too difficult to open. For me... the whole thing is just too big if I am going somewhere for a week. But if you need something that wont get shoved behind an appliance or dropped behind the couch... and you wont be taking more than a couple days with you somewhere... this one might be for you. I gave it 5 stars because I cant fault it for being too large. It is what it is and the description clearly says it is XL.

I like this pill organizer. I have used many in the past and they are usually very flimsy, but this one feels well made and very sturdy. The compartments are very roomy, so there i plenty of room for all of my medication, plus my larger vitamins, with room leftover. I wish I had found this one sooner, I would have saved so much money on buying them over the years!
