> 3 dayThis is the BEST baby product we have. Our 6 week old absolutely loves this bouncer and has since we started using it at 3.5 weeks. She is instantly calmed by the bouncing and is happy as a clam in it. You can start using from 8lbs and up and honestly so glad we registered for this item and had it on hand from the start. Right now we bounce her with our foot (very easy) but excited for when she’s bigger and can bounce herself too. She likes this more than anything else, including more than a more expensive electric swing we got her. We love how it looks as well and she seems so comfy in it.

> 3 dayI bought this a year ago before my son was born, not really knowing if it would be useful, but taking the risk. It ended up being probably the best purchase we made for our baby! He used it from about 6 weeks until 6 months when he began to sit on his own. We moved across the country when he was 3 months and the lightweight, compact portability of this bouncer saved us. Our son was a picky baby amd hated being strapped into anything; the carseat led to horrible hard-to-catch his breath meltdowns, the stroller resulted in crying fits, and forget the high chair. However, he adored sitting in this bouncer, kicking his feet and bouncing around. It saved our sanity many times. He also had to be on antibiotics for awhile at 5 months, and the only way he let us give them to him was when sitting in this chair. I am actually sad that we had to retire it until he is old enough to use the toddler side. Lastly, we washed the fabric at least twice a week due to spit up or diaper leaks and it still looks great! Yes, it is a slight pain to have to hang it to dry, but we found that washing it at bedtime and hanging overnight usually was sufficient to be able to use it by the next morning. Overall, I know that every baby has different likes and dislikes, but this worked so well for us that I felt compelled to write this review!

> 3 dayOne of the most used products I’ve bought for my Babygirl. I’ll read to her in it, take it with me to different rooms when baby needs to be in eyesight but I need to be hands free. It’s lightweight, portable & not an eyesore. It also helps soothe baby to sleep & pass gas/poop. Does not self bounce but that hasn’t been a problem for me. 10/10 recommend!

> 3 dayI bought a few chairs / swings/ bouncers for my baby and this one is by far the best one, my baby likes this one over all the other ones. It’s easy to clean, it’s easy to fold and put away. The best feature is the fact that It keeps the baby in an upright position ( it has other positions as well) and it really works to help soothe my baby since she is very colicky. It’s great quality. It’s worth it.

> 3 dayA bit pricey, but well worth the cost! During her first month or so, our baby did not care to be in it longer than 10 minutes or so. But soon she figured out how to kick her feet in it to bounce and now she loves it!! By 3 months old, we started putting music on for her and she LOVES to dance in the bouncer to the beat. She sits in it on the floor while I cook dinner and can watch me move around the kitchen. She has so much fun. She can sit in it around a crowd and see everyone in the living room. We took her camping for 1 night at 3 months old and put it on the flattest setting and she slept all night (about 7 hours) in it in between us in the tent. Our daycare also has a few of these in the room- they are great for the babies who cant sit up yet...as they can sit there and bounce or watch the sitting/crawling babies play whenever the teacher cannot be hands on with them. She LOVES it! Highly recommend!

> 3 dayI borrowed a baby bjorn babysitter balance when I had my first child 4 year ago. I liked it, but I has to give it back when we were done with it. With my 2nd child, I bought a cheap bouncer that I thought would do just as a good a job. Nope! I just bought the bjorn balance and now Im happy. The legs on the cheap bouncers stick out- everyone who came near that bouncer tripped. It didnt adjust up or down and you couldnt fold it easily for travel. The bjorn really is bouncy, so even though theres no battery powered vibration on it, my baby loves being it. She loves kicking to make it move. Highly recommend. Also, if you are looking at the balance and babysitter. They are about the same overall. The babysitter has a reversible seat so if you get tired of brown/khaki (or your baby spit up on that side and you were too lazy to get up and wash it), you could flip it over to the all brown side for a new, clean look. :) the restraint unbuckled completely. If you flip the balance cover over, its just the seat without any restraint system so they call it a child seat.

> 3 dayIs this pricey? Yes. It is worth it? Yes. We used to have a rock and play for my first child, then they were recalled. So we have this a go. It’s a nice comfy chair, but it’s hidden attribute is that if your little one is backed up, some gentle bouncing and gravity works magic on constipation, thus why we dub it the magical poop chair. Cons: Wish it was a buckle instead of a thing you slide through, it can be difficult at times and very difficult one handed. Also one more setting to be more upright.

Greater than one weekIts expensive for the length of time that we were able to use it, but it was completely worth it and has a great resale value. I purchased it when my son was a little over 2 months old, and I wish I had had it from the beginning. We stopped using it at about 7 months because he was sitting fine on his own and is big for his age. When it was in use, it was a lifesaver. It has a smaller footprint than a lot of other bouncers, so we were able to bring it into our small bathroom and my son would sit in it while we showered. We brought it any time we traveled, my son would sit in it while we ate dinner, wed put him in it while we cooked in the kitchen or washed dishes. He enjoyed that he was able to sit up to see what was happening, and I liked how easy it was to use and how lightweight it is. We used it a lot when he was fussy just to be able to get things done. I have several different types of carriers, but you cant baby wear all the time, especially when cooking or washing dishes. This solved our issue, he didnt fuss because I was able to engage with him by having him right next to me while I got stuff done. He had a couple of blowouts while seated in this, we actually called it the magic pooping chair. We also used this chair to feed him when we started introducing him to solids because he didnt seem to like his high chair at first. Depending on the level of clean up needed, the cover cleaned up easily with baby wipes or by throwing it in the wash.

> 3 dayOk, in all seriousness this chair is amazing. Our daughter hates to be put down laying down during the day, so this is great. Allows her to be part of the action and its attractive and portable. The funniest secondary use for this chair is that it makes her go number 2 as soon as she sits in it! I dont know what it is about the angle of the chair but she feels most comfortable pooping in it. So if we can see that shes struggling to go, BOOM, put her in that chair and its a miracle worker. Only thing is we have to put down some sort of protective layer between her and the chair because there have been some blow out diapers that stained the fabric. Super easy to clean but a hassle if youre doing it daily.

> 3 dayIf we could give this product ten stars we would. We had our first child in August and after the first month our pediatrician had us go to urgent care because “it isn’t normal” for baby to cry for six hours straight every day. Of course the urgent care doctor merely sympathized with us and told us to strap in for the next 3, possibly 6 months. Cue a casual menty B (mental breakdown) for mom. Our daughter hated the side to side swing another parent recommended, but liked when dad did squats while holding her - however dad said this was not a long term solution. Mom realized baby liked an up down motion - enter the Baby Bjorn Bouncer. Baby no longer fusses for hours every day - mom and dad now have some semblance of their mental health back. Our only wish is that it could be motorized, but on the other hand our calves are getting real swole.
