We need to exchange because the description and picture to advertise does not accurately represent the color. The beige is actually mauve.

Portable, baby loves it, soft and not hard to wash. Just so expensive!

Just get this for your baby! It’s so comfortable for baby and secure. We got the cotton one and it breathes just fine in hot weather. It’s so soft and comfy—seriously—and baby can easily bounce in with just the kick of a leg. Our baby is just a month old and already loves being upright and able to see us in this chair. It is so easy to use (we just pop baby in and no need to buckle because it’s already buckled beforehand). We have tried other loungers and they’re just not as comfy for baby. To save on cost, we bought an unboxed “like new” one. Look for those! As soon as you get it, the cover slips right off to be washed and slips right back on with ease. Just get this. And if you don’t like it, you can always return it thanks to Amazon’s awesome policy.

I think this is my first ever Amazon review because I am so impressed with this baby bouncer. My once colicky baby is instantly soothed by this bouncer. Our little girl is 5 weeks old and is not impressed with any of our other baby gadgets. We have a swing, a rock and play, a glider, a little vibrating seat, and a mamaroo type machine. The only thing that seems to calm her down when she is in the middle of one of her colic spells is bouncing her pretty quickly in our arms or on our legs. This can be incredibly tiring after awhile. I began to search for a baby bouncer and quickly realized that all of the powered bouncers provided very small and smooth bouncing motion. My baby prefers a quick bouncing motion, this is truly the only thing that will calm her down and give us all some peace in our home. Enter the BabyBjorn bouncer. I was hesitant to purchase it because it isnt motorized and relies on the babys movements (or your movement with your feet) to move the bouncer. Once I opened it and got it set up (which was the easiest, quickest thing ever), I put my baby in it and placed my foot at the base, started rocking my foot up and down, and she started easily (and quickly!) bouncing up and down. She instantly calmed down. This has absolutely been the best purchase for us!! Within a few minutes of being in the bouncer she falls asleep, and she is a baby that did not sleep much prior to this. If you have a fussy baby that can only be calmed down by rapid bouncing, BUY this! You will not regret it. We now have a HAPPY smiley baby more times than not thanks to this bouncer.

With my first baby I got a cheap bouncer seat with the vibrator in it available just about anywhere. It quickly became one of the more despised baby items and was donated. My experience with traditional baby bouncer seats is that babies do not like or notice the vibrator setting-its just a waste of money (they eat expensive batteries), they are bulky and feel cheaply made, they are very quickly outgrown, and are usually an eye sore (the baby stuff is cute at first but as a first time parent youll more than likely start to feel like you are drowning in a home full of cutesy baby things). The Baby Bjorn Bouncer resolves all of these issues and give you a truly durable and functional product well worth the money. The seat is preassembled (unlike most) which gives you one less thing to put together while preparing for baby-a big plus! It also collapses so that it can be stored very easily even in many narrow spaces. This is especially great when storing it for the next baby. I love that the seat design is simple, sleek, and light weight enough I can bring into any room of the house to have baby happily bounce right next to me. Another huge huge plus is how easy it is to wash. The cover simply slides off and goes right in the wash. No pulling or untangling the belt buckles to remove it-and it washes very nicely (i.e. No pilling!). Possibly what really makes this worth the price, is the longevity of use. Being able to use this through toddlerhood is what seals the deal-nor do I have to worry about my current toddler trying to use it when baby is not. I really wish I wouldve looked past the price tag of this seat with my first baby to see the true value in such a functional well designed baby product. Definitely a must have item for new (or new again!) parents! P.s. if price really is an issue consider buying an open box condition one from amazon for a great discount.

I was never really one to buy into the hype about Baby Bjorn. However, I can honestly say they do make superior products in general. This particular bouncer is just almost perfect but does have its pain points. For the good - It is lightweight, has good decent safety, has nice 3 levels of elevation, good materials, and seems to fit our baby perfectly. However, on the downside - you cant move it with baby sitting in it, its awkward to move even without the baby in it because there is no real handhold at the top or anywhere for that matter, the adjustments for elevation is located directly underneath it, meaning you cant do it with baby sitting in it, and the safety straps are a type where you have to slip it through the latch like a button instead of just click it in, which is difficult with a moving baby. Overall its a great bouncer, but you will need to be ok with some of the difficulties that come with it.

My 4 week old baby seems to like sitting in this seat. I will update this once he gets a little older and takes greater advantage of the bouncing feature. For now, I will say that I like how lightweight it is and that you can wash the fabric portion of the seat. I also bought the googly eye toy that fastens onto this, but my baby doesnt seem very interested yet, so I took it off. Side note: You have to remove the toy every time the baby goes in and out of the seat, so its a little bit of a pain. All in all though, the seat is a nice purchase. Update: my baby loved this seat up until he was around 5 months old when he grew out of it. He loved bouncing himself and simply reclining. He seemed very comfortable in it and seemed to have fewer issues spitting up after bottles if I put him in this. Also, this seat cover held up well in the wash. I highly recommend this for parents of small babies.

My son is what is referred to as a velcro baby. He will not let me put him down for even a moment without crying horribly. I spent 2 months unable to make myself food, comb my hair or even shower without him crying his little eyes out. I was exhausted but then...my mother suggested this little bouncer and everything changed! From the moment I put him in the chair he was calm and happy. Its very well made, easy to move from room to room and the cover is machine washable. The design is simple and brilliant. The straps can be put on with only one hand. Super easy to get him in and out. He is 4 months old now and starting to figure out that he can make it bounce. The cover is solid canvas and soft. Thebseems are very strong. It make zero sound while he bounces. I now have a moment here and there to do things around the house while my little man plays in a safe comfy little seat. Highly recommend!

My baby is a month old and I bought this so she could be close to us and not have to be lying down. She’s very calm in it and the light bouncing helps with her digestion. We even bought the freaky lil eye thing that goes with it. She likes to stare at it I’m sure when she can move her arms more she’ll grab at it.

Prior to our baby being born, we purchased a swing because I had previously read you do not need both a swing and a bouncer. However, our son doesn’t like his swing because buckling him in makes him fussy, and even though our swing has a detachable rocker, it is too heavy for me to conveniently carry around. Because our son has reflux, we have to hold him upright for 20-40 minutes after each feeding. This was taking up so much time every day I finally gave in and purchased this bouncer after reading the great reviews because the incline looked similar to holding him in our arms. The nurse hotline at our pediatrician office said a bouncer didn’t count as holding a child upright, but in my experience, it has worked perfectly for reflux. Not only is this the perfect place to set our son after feeding, he LOVES this bouncer and many times this is the only thing that calms him down when he is upset. There have been been nights where he refuses to go to sleep in my arms but will fall asleep immediately in this. Since it is not a safe sleeping device, I simply put him into bed once he falls asleep. I would recommend a Baby Bjorn bouncer to any new parent, and it is a must-have for any parent of a baby with reflux. The toy attachment is expensive but absolutely worth it. If this works for your baby, I would also recommend buying an extra cover. Since it can not go in the dryer, it took almost an entire day to air dry, and if you use this as much as we do, you will not want to wait two days for the cover to arrive. On the plus side, both spit up and pee easily came out in the wash, and the cover looked good as new! Note: I will say that I almost returned the bouncer after I saw the hideous warning label on the front of the bouncer that cannot be removed. It is unfortunate that a few people ruined it for everyone because the warnings are common sense and also highlighted in the instruction manual. I almost deducted a star for the label, but after further research found that it is actually required for all bouncers made after 2018 based on a new consumer safety law.
