I tried 3 cheaper bearing buddies and have found I would have saved money had I bought the slightly more expensive Bearing Buddies, Well worth the extra money.

I have the 1980A-SS Bearing Buddies on my trailer. I broke the blue spool by scraping it against my gate. Etrailer.com said I have to purchase new a bearing. I emailed BearingBuddy.com and Millie sent me a new blue spool with circlip free of charge....WOW! WHAT SERVICE! Totally pleased with Millie at Bearing Buddy! Great product. Just dont be a dummy like me and scrape it against your gate!

I put these on my boat trailer. The original factory parts were showing signs of wear and leakage. These were an easy bet and gave me the confidence I needed that I wouldn’t run into trouble in the future.

Despite being fairly mechanically inclined and installed as directed one of the two fell-off within the first three mile of driving. Taking ONE STAR coz of it. This time I decided not to fault the seller and ordered/paid for another pair to replaced the one that fell-off, since over 200 miles driven with no issues and seems working as they should. After the fact, read some of the product feedback and noticed others had reported similar falling off experiences despite proper installation.
