It was easy to use. Easy to put together. Just not powerful. I had one and it got up old old stains. This one dont.

The heater seems to be working still, but the steam is no longer coming out of the machine. Sad! We only got to use it for 4 months. Wish this wouldve lasted longer, spent a decent amount of money on this!

This mop didn’t even last 10 months! This mop ends up not working. It starts up and then it stops, and so on. What a waste of money! Black and Decker sells cheap mops so yourself a favor and do not buy this product. I spent this much money on a mop who can’t even work for a year!

So far this little steamer seems to be doing great & it’s lighter than the Shark I love but that isn’t available any more.

This Black & Decker steam mop is a nice steam mop. Although there is plenty of room for improvement with this device. First off the cord length. The cord length is not at all long enough. I can not adequately clean my floors with this steam mop because the cord length is so short Im not able to reach areas of my floor in my house because there isnt an outlet close enough to reach. Another thing is only one mop pad? The steam mop only comes with one mop pad! Really? I dont understand why they would only give you one mop pad when most other manufacturers give you at least a spare mop pad. After you use the mop for awhile cleaning your floors the dirt on the mop pad begins to clump up so unless you buy an additional mop pad. You have to stop in the middle of cleaning to clean the mop pad. The water tank is not removable. You have to lay the body section of the steam mop on the floor and use a pitcher or a cup to get the water into a small hole. Why couldnt the water tank be removable? Other than those important features that could be improved on this Black & Decker steam mop. Its not all that bad it works as advertised and it does a good job of cleaning the floors.

It really starts steaming right away. The cord is really too short to do more than one room at a time and you cannot store the cord on the actual unit which I find funny.

    Greater than one week

I think this is better than using a Swiffer Wet Jet because you get the steam to kill bacteria and a washable microfiber pad. Having to work with a power cord is a small price for good cleaning.

I should have read the reviews for this thing or paid better attention. This steam mop is very straight forward, theres only two buttons on the dang thing. I didnt get any instructions in my box, but figured it only has two buttons, how hard can it be? Ill say the steam mop does clean really well, just with water it cleaned my hard wood floors and made them look spotless. Unfortunately the huge downfall to this steam mop is the cord. It is ridiculously short. There is no way I can clean my kitchen floor without having to unplug this and move it to another plug to clean the other side of my kitchen! It just doesnt reach further than like 7 feet from the wall. So its a huge inconvenience to plug in, get whatever you can reach, unplug, move to another outlet, and get whatever you can reach near that outlet, and rinse and repeat! I dont understand why they made such a short cord. I already felt a little old school getting one with a cord, but having one THIS tiny is hilarious. It probably was only made for the small kitchens and bathrooms. Im giving 3 stars because it does clean and steam mop really nicely, but to actually get the job done takes longer and more time due to the short cord.

On the contrary. Youre supposed to lift up the whole thing into the sink and aim the faucet correctly into the small hole?! Fill a watering can maybe, or use a funnel and pour water into the small hole through the funnel? Ridiculous.
