Product looks good and works nicely and has a light that tells you moderate and good air levels but its very difficult to register. You need to provide serial number. i looked everywhere on the product, on the accompanying paper work, on my invoice and there is no serial number. Threw the box out but I dont think it was on it. So how does one register? Online there is an i next to serial number but no it doesnt work. You search on Blue air website, and there is not information. You call and you sit there and listen to long wait times and listen to music. So why drive th customer Crazy for such simple thing?

I like the product. What I did not like was that they sent me someone else’s returned unit. It was already used. I was in desperate need of the unit to cleanse the air from previous cat owner in apt and cast off toxins from a new memory foam mattress. It worked well so I am keeping it.

My husband was becoming like all of the seven dwarves… Sneezy, Snorey, Wheezy, which was making me Grumpy. We needed help with the air in our room. We got the bedroom size purifier and literally the first night we both slept like a Princess. It worked so well to purify and cleanse our space and didn’t take long at all to work. The sound is very quiet when it’s on the lower settings. It’s a little louder when you turn it to the highest setting but it’s almost like a nice sound machine. The size is great, it’s easy to move, and we’re thankful for a better night’s sleep than we’ve had in weeks since seasonal allergies picked up. Highly recommend.

The unit blueair 311 seems to be working well. However I had to contact the Blueair customer support because getting pre-filter replacements is next to impossible. I was told things that were not true by their customer service representative. Told the blue 311 and 311 auto are the exact same size and so are the filters. That is NOT the case. Trying to get exact information was a game of half answers. I am not sure if these models are being discontinued in favor of the newer hi tec ones but trying to find filters and covers is nearly impossible. (They are the first step in the filtration process) I could not find them available even on the Blueair page. Representative said they were out of stock to try again in 2 weeks how do you not carry these for your customers? No covers for either model? I am now concerned about my purchase from them.

I like the simplicity and the style. But I don’t like the sound of the fan. It sounds unbalanced. It makes a slight ticking noise like a fan blade is hitting the case, or maybe something wrong with the bearings. This noise is constant, despite the fan speed. From the very first day of using it, I thought that noise was partly because it was brand new and would need time to break in. The noise has never gone away. I regret not contacting the company when I noticed it. If it didn’t have the clicking noise, it would be I impressively quiet. Maybe they’ve improved over the years. I recommend to contact the company if you hear the noise similar to an unbalanced fan. I also have a smaller one from the same company, and it also has a similar noise. But much softer. It’s a smaller model. You only really notice it on speed 2 or 3. If you’re okay with a little noise, I recommend using in the living room rather than a bedroom.

Doesn’t sound like a fine tuned fan. Make quality suspect

Being an extreme allergy sufferer, this is not my first trip to the air purifier rodeo. After reading reviews, I decided to try this unit out. It has performed wonderfully so far. And is by far one of the quietest units I have owned. The fact that it has an automatic air sensing function and will run accordingly is also a pretty great feature. So far my air quality is better as is my breathing and allergies

This is the 3rd purifier I got from Blueair. The quality of the product is really good as always. The higher than average CFM, compared to other brands (coway or dyson) in similar size, circulates the air faster, and allows the machine to cover a larger area. One thing that I learned from researching for air purifier is that Blueair filters are technically not HEPA certified. They call themselves HEPASilent which is not HEPA certified. The only products that are really HEPA certified are the ones marked with True HPEA, and Blueair is not one of them. However, they did have individual test result to prove their filtration, and many tests are also available on youtube, so I wasnt too concern about it. Love the auto mode, which my Classic 605 doesnt have, making it a perfect choice for bedrooms since the machine would slow down automatically at night and stay quiet.

We live overseas in a city with high air pollution due to cars and burning of trash. These are fantastic. We have one in each bedroom and the main living room and they do exactly what we need. I can especially tell the difference in the mornings when I go into the hallway of our apartment building and can smell smoke, but there’s no smell of smoke in my house. Love them!
