Bootable USB Stick for macOS X El Capitan 10.11 - Full OS Install, Reinstall, Recovery and Upgrade

I am a retired pc technician who purchased a used Apple Mackbook Air 13.3 2014 model used. I was told it had been reset during sale but it was still locked with password. I searched online for solutions to remove password nothing worked. I ended up deleting hard drive. Ok now searching for OS X El Capitan software to download. It seems that you need to use a Mac computer to do it Windows Pc No good. I don’t have a working Mac lol. I searched on Amazon and found just what I needed. It was quick and easy and now I’m a happy camper. It is even linked with my iPhone now life is good. All I need now is a Manila envelope to carry it around lol

I was able to restore two MacBooks using this. Easy to install came with instructions. 100% recommended.

To reinstall a MAC OSX software after reformatting and you cannot locate the original install disk, this is your best option. Took a little tech support to walk through but was up in running in no time!

The instructions were hard to follow.

Have a 2009 Mac mini and needed to make a boot drive to reinstall the OSX on a new drive. Can’t make one on windows or my newer Apple silicone MacBook. This usb worked flawlessly. Very happy that it saw it and also had instructions on how to boot into the recovery mode. Very pleased.

Now months later I have tried it on a few different Macs and did not boot one of them, to cheap to return thats what they count on

I had to restore my OS to factory settings (Hard drive failure I think). I upgraded to the 2tb Samsung solid state and put snow leopard (original OS) on it. Worked fine except it was so old I couldnt use the internet or app store. I was not able to upgrade to El Capitan using the thumb drive. I kept getting failure messages. I had to backup my info and erase the new hard drive and then install the OS on it. That worked well. I am now running El Capitan with all updates and its great! Plus I now have a bootable backup with the thumb drive. I may eventually upgrade further - although it sounds like anything newer requires some additional software patches.

Product was received with instructions and phone number for tech support. I was able to call for support which was very helpful. He actually FaceTime me and was able to provide step by step instructions until my computer was up and working again. Great product and service for the price! Thanks!
