I was stuck on the progress bar with the apple logo....but then I reset the SMC and voila.

5 1/4 disk labeled as USB.

Just exactly what was needed quick and easy. Make sure you delete the original partition on your Mac if you want a trouble-free clean install.

Used the installer on a 2011 imac that i had. The OS had previously been deleted. This installer put the OS on it and it is running perfectly.
