I know having to change the caps is kind of annoying but after my experience with several other ear thermometers I have found it to be a necessary evil. Sweat and wax in the thermometers tips somehow insulate the tips so devices start giving normal readings when the child actually has a fever. Having accepted that, there are only two things I thing the makers could correct in order to have a perfect product: 1. To include a light in the screen. I dont know about yours but my los fevers typically occur by night. Since he likes to sleep in a very dark environment, measuring his temperature is annoying because I have to take the measure, get out of the room or use the cell phone, then come back if somehow I did not stick the device properly and the reading was off (No way to know it) 2. To eliminate the sound alarm or to make it optional. Since it does not have an illuminated screen, the device beeps when the reading is done. We are talking about a device which is stuck on an already fussy babys ear. Just tell me how you would feel if someone stuck something in your ear while you feel sick and then this things beeps inside your ear! Well, imagine how a baby would feel.

Great product, easy to use. Great value for your money then what you find in the store

These are the same as the original lens filters that came with this thermometer. Ive tried to order these lens filters in the past from another seller, who claimed they were the correct fit. They were NOT and were too big and totally useless. However, THIS PURCHASE was the perfect fit and I am very happy with this purchase. I got 80 filters for a very reasonable price.

Bought thermometer in 2001 I used to just buy replacement covers at cvs but they stopped selling them in stores. I was excited when I found them non Amazon & the price is great! So happy our trusty lil thermometer still works the bomb!

These thermometer covers are great. They get the job done! I purchased these twice already, I would recommend to anyone with an ear thermometer

I like these mostly because I like my Braun temperature reader so much. They are made of very thin plastic, and are easy to put on and throw away when youre done. I cheat and keep the same plastic end on there until my kid is done being sick. Doctors who see multiple patients or school nurses would of course be changing all the time, but for the average family its much less frequent. Thats why this 40 pack is probably going to last me for years to come... which makes it an even better purchase for me!

I purchased these for use with a Braun Thermoscan 7 thermometer. They fit but they feel somewhat flimsier than the older covers. I also frequently get an insert cover warning even after applying a cover onto the thermometer. I’ve experienced similar issues in the past with cheap generic covers, but never with genuine Braun covers. It works if I fidget with the cover until it’s detected, but I shouldn’t have to do that with genuine Braun covers. I don’t know what changed, but it wasn’t for the better.

These work exactly as expected! No surprises, make sure you change them as directed or your temperatures will start to be inaccurate. I would take my temp on the way out the door and forget to change it for a few days. My temperature would start to reflect high fevers as the tip wore out.

I bought this to go into a baby shower basket but the package was opened so I felt as if I could not give it. However it was fast shipping.
