Braun ThermoScan Lens Filters for Ear Thermometer, Disposable Covers LF40US01 (40 Count)

I bought this to go into a baby shower basket but the package was opened so I felt as if I could not give it. However it was fast shipping.

I would only use the original and this is the original work great

These work well with my Braun thermometer and probably with with others as well.

Our Braun thermometer will not function unless a cover is on the tip. These attach easily and are comfortable to use in the ear. I feel they are kinda pricey, especially since they are meant for single use. We went through a phase of constantly checking temperatures due to pandemic induced anxiety so a 40 pack doesnt seem to last long if each tip is tossed in the trash after being used. Personally, I have reused the tips if its being used on the same person. However, they do seem to give an inaccurate reading if the tip is reused more than a few times. If they were cheaper, I probably wouldnt do this, so I guess that would be my only complaint is the cost.

Exact fit and you do get two for one if would have bought at walmart, so still a bit expensive, but I found a different brand with a lot more with the order for a few dollars more. Maybe shop around.

Arrived fast. No issues. Needed for the unit to function. Amazon is the most affordable place to find these.

I know having to change the caps is kind of annoying but after my experience with several other ear thermometers I have found it to be a necessary evil. Sweat and wax in the thermometers tips somehow insulate the tips so devices start giving normal readings when the child actually has a fever. Having accepted that, there are only two things I thing the makers could correct in order to have a perfect product: 1. To include a light in the screen. I dont know about yours but my los fevers typically occur by night. Since he likes to sleep in a very dark environment, measuring his temperature is annoying because I have to take the measure, get out of the room or use the cell phone, then come back if somehow I did not stick the device properly and the reading was off (No way to know it) 2. To eliminate the sound alarm or to make it optional. Since it does not have an illuminated screen, the device beeps when the reading is done. We are talking about a device which is stuck on an already fussy babys ear. Just tell me how you would feel if someone stuck something in your ear while you feel sick and then this things beeps inside your ear! Well, imagine how a baby would feel.

Was looking for these filters to fit a digital thermometer years ago. Im glad Amazon had them, and at such a good price. Definitely will purchase again!

Needed new filters for our Braun Ear thermometer (especially with cold/flu season approaching). Went to the local stores looking for them and couldnt believe how much they wanted for just 20 of them! The price I paid on Amazon for 40 was WONDERFUL!!!! I do most of my shopping online (except for groceries), through Amazon. I have yet to find another place that offers most of what we need for cheaper! If I can, I watch the prices til I think theyve dropped enough...but the price for 40 of these lens filters was a STEAL compared to what our local stores and pharmacies are asking for just 20 of them!!! We are a family of 4 living on just one income, I couldnt be happier with the price I paid for these!
