BRI Nutrition L-Lysine 180 Servings Per Bottle - Super 500mg Veggie Capsules

So far so good. This pill is easy to swallow and I haven’t had any issues with it so far. Seems to be working for me. The only issue I have is with the bottle. I feel that it should have a locked cap for child safety instead of twist cap. Very easy for someone to open it up. although children should not be around pills it’s better to be safe than sorry. It’s important to have the correct lock lid so kids are not able to open it under any circumstance. (Still worth the purchase and happy I did) seems to be a great purchase!!

As a long time sufferer of cold sores I have tried pretty much every purported remedy out there with no luck. Knock on wood, I take 2 of these every day and have not had a single flare-up in over 2 years. It’s working for me and I would recommend anyone who has the same issue to give it a try.

Finally, a calcium pill I can swallow! Just a few days ago, one of my OLD calcium tablets stuck in my throat so completely that I began to pass out. I was afraid for my life and ended up on the floor. I threw those tablets in my compost barrel and searched for something BETTER. They are here today. Not only are they SOFT they are also smaller with just as much calcium as the old horse pills had.

I have been taking lysine for a long time. I take a daily dose, but if my system feels out of balance, and gets a little acidic, I amp up the dosage. If I feel the start of a fever blister, I amp up the dosage. I am a vegetarian, and I appreciate that this product has vegetarian capsules. This is a good product, and I plan to continue using it. I used to take 1000 mg tablets of lysine, but they are huge, so I prefer the easier to swallow capsules and being able to modify the dosage more easily.

All I can say about this product is LOVE, LOVE AND LOVE!! I’m on my second bottle and I will continue to re-order. Lysine is so important for me as I’m someone who in the past has suffered from cold sores, I’ve had this problem since grade school. As an adult I realized they can be triggered by stress and even if I’m sick. For me personally they’ve helped SO MUCH! I think the key is consistency!! Hope this helps someone else, I take 1 every morning & 1 before bed. :)

BRI nutrition lysing is not working for me and I will Have to go on my other brand I was using . I like that it was easy to swallow and they were Veggie capsules & Not real big . I am on 2000 Mg every day fighting mouth sores & Watching what I eat & This supplement didn’t help . Good price though !!!

I do carry the virus that produces cold sores, HSV1. I havent had an actual sore in years, but sometimes, whether a psychosomatic reaction to worrying about it, or real, feel a tingle here or there around my mouth or on my lips. I eat a vegetable-based diet, so if Im not careful sometimes I dont get enough L-Lysine, and these are good to have around for those days. I did read on the Mayo Clinic website that it can be dangerous to have too much of this in supplement form, especially as it interacts with certain medications, so look into that yourself and be careful.

I need L-lysine for when I feel a fever blister start coming on. Before this product I could not find it in a small enough size to swallow. Finally, now I can take L-lysine without fear of choking. I assume it will work like any other L-lysine Ive taken - Im always amazed that an amino acid can stave off a fever blister! I only take it when I feel a fever blister starting and will take about 3 capsules twice a day. It seems to work.

Bought these to replace the huge caplet I have used in the past and the are much easier to swallow. I just to have fever blisters and cold sores at least twice a year until I started taking L-Lsyine daily. Taking these daily has completely kept all of these from reoccurring for the past three years and I am loving it. I recommend these to any other one I have taken.

Easy to take. Repairs skin, especially chapped lips. Took this during chemo to avoid mouth sores. Never suffered from those, which are very common for breast cancer patients.
