> 3 dayPlugged it in and it just does the job. Running both 5MP, 15fps and 8MP, 30fps H.265 security cameras off of it using all 8 primary 100 Mb/s ports. Picked up a cheap pack of Cisco rated 10GTek 1 Gb/s SFP transceivers and uplinked to managed Cisco switch over fiberoptic cable. Mounted to wall with a DIN rail.

Greater than one weekIts been one year and 2 of these industrial switches survived blistering summer inside a large electrical box with no ventilation. I have 2 of these switches extending my network across a condo complex and powering 6 Lorex PoE cameras which monitor pedestrian and vehicle gates. I got the SFP to ethernet converter for the middle BVtech10port. 4 Lorex cameras powered by one BVtech and 2 cameras powered by the other. LorexNVR---cat6---BVtech10port---cat6---BVtech10port

> 3 dayThis is a good switch functionally and operated well right out of the box, but it is evidently not rated for use at elevated temperatures, as claimed. At < 50C ambient, this unit failed in the field after 4 months of use.
