Great lens, honestly for a beginner its awesome, but once you get into spending $800-1500 for lenses the image quality looks like crap compared... Just depends on your budget, for the price though this is probably the best 50mm lens put there.

Unbelievable value. This lens, shot wide open, makes incredibly beautiful portraits and great lighting bokeh effects. The accessories that came with it are nice throw-ins but the value is really in the lens. Great buy.

Just what I was looking for for an upcoming newborn shoot. The extras are ok but not great but the price is good just for the lens
