Canon MP480 All-in-One Photo Printer

It gets the job done, but as someone in another review said, not without a ten minute drum solo first. Also, it seems to have issues printing from certain programs, such as Firefox web browser, for which it can randomly cause to crash.

The printer is fine, but the cartridges are very small and expensive. They cannot be refilled.

The Canon MP480 is a good all-in-one. It scans really well, prints well, and is easy to use. My only gripe is that it sucks ink like an old pickup sucks gas. The Canons XL size cartridge lasted a shorter time than the refill size on my old printer did. If you get this printer, my recommendation is to use it to print things you absolutely have to have at home and forget about printing photos. Photos will drain the cartridge dry in nothing flat.

Ive been wanting to purchase this unit... have it on my Wish List. Been tracking the Amazon price(s) waiting till the cost falls below mfg suggested ($99.99). Checked today... Price $126.95! Checked the Canon website, price $99.99 Sorry Amazon... ya lost my biz on this one.

I couldnt believe that his printer/copier/scanner performed so well for such a small cost. It is a superb value and a most satisfying printer, easily installed and works like a charm. It has my full endorsemant. Bravo to Canon and Amazon.

We bought this to replace an HP all-in-one that was awful. This Canon printer is awesome--fast printing, great quality, and we dont have to feed the paper in one page at a time! Weve been using it for a few weeks now, have printed photos and text and used the copier, and have no complaints whatsoever. Couldnt be happier with this printer.

The price of this printer is way too expensive and the build quality very cheap and it has very limited features. This unit is not Bluetooth ready. You will need to buy the adapter that can be purchased for $50.00!!!!! I returned to Amazon for a full refund.

I have had this printer for several years. I am amazed how long it lasts without giving problems. Just recently, the only difficulty is that is not compatible with Windows 10. So, in other words, my all-in-one Canon worked fine until... the arrival of Windows 10. Anyway, it seems that there is a solution and I am going to find out tomorrow from Canons technical support. If I get a solution I will edit my post to share the solution. I just wanted to finally write a well deserved good review for this good product.

I am not sure how long the ink will last, but the quality of the print is great for the money. Mine is mostly used for print and pictures and I have found it easy to operate and has good quality. I would recommend this printer.

I ordered this printer, I can only see disadvantage in it: 1.takes long to start printing, guess it is wrming up 2. inks run down very quickly 3. scanner does a nonsense with the OCR documents 4.the photo quality; is not all that I expected 5. Too costly for the quality of prints 6. HP better any day.
