CELLA Shaving cream Soap - XL GIANT Size - One Kilo Box 1000GR - almond shave creme - Fills cella container 12 times !!

So my shaving life has gone through some rough patches lately (literally). I normally use glycerin based shave soaps, namely Colonel Conks bay rum. I shave using a silver tip badger bristed brush and a 1974 Gillette black beauty with Feather blades. I finish off with an alum block and Nivea alcohol free post shave balm. Do you remember after the first time you wet shaved? When the epiphany happened. When you realized all you thought you knew about shaving was wrong. That the old ways were really better than the new. Well it happened again last night. I really wanted to give a tallow based soap a try and OOOOOH BOY. Cella is amazing!! Its slicker than the glycerin soaps and the lather it produces is rich beyond belief. I shave my whole face 3 times and the lather just doesnt die. The razor effortlessly glides along your skin and the sweet almond scent just makes you want more. After shaving, my face was left feeling soft with zero razor burn or irritation. This is the only shave soap I will be using from now on.

What a value!! I bought this 1KG block of soap and split it equally between my son, a friend from work and myself. Its very soft soap. All 3 of us agree that its either the best or at least one of the best soaps we have ever tried. I can easily recommend.

Cella is an Italia shave soap that is fairly soft and has a mild almond scent. It took a day or two to get the feel for the right amount of water to use in lathering it, but once I had that down, it produces a slick and thick lather that really gives a great shave. The one kilo block is a great value per shave. It is likely to last well over a year. I look forward to my morning shave knowing that I am using Cella.

Fabulous! I have used this product for a while and it is peerless! Superior lather that lasts forever, a wonderful fragrance, and what an enjoyable shave! Man, this is the only soap youll ever need! And, its perfect for shaving your head!!!

This soap softens my heavy beard for a comfortable shave. I bought a block and cut pieces for my shaving mug. Use a badger brush to make a thick lather. I soak brush in boiling hot water while I shower, shake out excess water and work up a lather as thick as from an aerosol can from drug store. Lubricates my skin for a close straight razor shave and does not razor burn. Ive used about half my block over 5 or 6 years. Keep the block in a plastic food bag to maintain moisture level. Cover your mug too. This is my everyday soap.

Makes a GREAT leather quickly. Not sure if I like this or Vitos Extra Super Shaving Soap, better. Im leaning towards the Vitos. But this soap is incredible, no two ways about it.

Im a woman in my 40s who switched over from canned Barbasol & shave gels over a year ago. My preference is for croaps - cross between a hard cream & a soft soap - and in my regular shave rotation are Proraso green, white & red, Cella, and Arko. Cella has a pliable, clay-like consistency you can mold with your hands, so you can use this large refill to fill your empty containers without any grating or melting - just cut off a chunk & press it into your container. I am in a hot climate so I store my large block in a gallon ziplock bag in my fridge. I cut my block in a tic-tac-toe pattern to refill the standard 5.4 oz. plastic Cella bowl, for 9 refills. Cella has an almond scent, lathers easily & well, tons of slickness thanks to tallow, and I find it the most moisturizing out of the soaps Ive used, probably due to coconut oil as the first ingredient. If youre a woman looking for a good budget-friendly shaving soap, Cella & Proraso white (the sensitive skin version) are the most feminine/least overtly-masculine scents in my opinion - Cella being the more moisturizing of those two. Obviously Im a fan of this soap since I bought the massive brick, and it will always be in my rotation.

This soap is my go to soap. I love it. The slickness that is produced is out of this world. Even for beginners the slickness which is formed from a poor leather is still pretty good. For professionals, the lather produces THE best slickness around. The scent is great, at least to me. A general warning though, some people may not like the scent. My younger brother says it makes him gag. Either way I suggest this soap for ever wet shaver.
