Centric Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Blue Slate, Checked-Large 28-Inch

I took these Samsonite Centric Expandable Hardside Luggage with Spinner Wheels on a plane trip with my family and just got back a few days ago. They performed amazingly well, and to my surprise, survived the trip (in which we had connected flights on the way up and on the way back) literally without a scratch on them. Not one scuff, not one scratch. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

It was a great product until it last! I just bought it a year ago and did not even use it too much since I do not travel frequently. I did not read the warranty details (it tells you you have 10 years) and realize after I have open a claim since I saw the damage on the front shell. Since it is not a factory related damage and it is not fixable by Samsonite service team, it is not covered by the warranty.... simply garbage now...Lesson learned... never buy any luggage without reading the warranty thoroughly... Briggs and Riley luggage unconditional lifetime guarantee better choice in the future... bye bye Samsonite...

The suitcase is very lightweight. I returned another to buy this one relying on the brand name. That was a huge mistake. This is an absolute failure of quality control.

Everythings PERFECT!!

I love this carry-on. It fits perfectly in the overhead compartment and is just narrow enough to roll down the aisle, but there really is quite a lot of room inside. Half the inside can be secured with a zipper. When I last traveled I put a bunch of clothes in there for padding and then put my laptop in for ease of removing for the TSA check. The study handle means its easy to carry, too, though I do prefer to roll it. Lastly, its sturdy (though this doesnt matter as much for a carry-on, and Ive never checked it through) and a nice attractive gray. Recommended!

I bought this suitcase in August for an early September vacation. First leg of the trip, the end handle broke off, taking with it my claim check. Nice. By the time I got back home and had to catch up at the office the first day back, I missed the return date by one day. Now Im stuck with a damaged suitcase. Very disappointed in this brand.
