I like Clover products. You can tell its going to be tested & used by sewers. Nancy Zieman uses Clover products. She wouldnt put her name with just any company. I like that you can take this places you cant take scissors. Plus its cute.

I purchased this thread cutter with the idea that it would be less dangerous in my needlework bag than a pair of scissors. Sure enough, theres no risk of poked fingers or being confiscated by TSA, with no exposed blades. Its heavyweight enough to feel like itll last many years, and has a loop if you want to string a ribbon to wear it around your neck or tie it to the handle of your bag. Its slender enough to trim loose threads closely to the back of your work, too...no more long dangly ends because you didnt have scissors with you!

Perfect for chain piecing, EPP, cross-stitch and more! It has a beautiful pattern as well.

Lovely cutter with an antique appear. Its impossible to cut yourself or cut baby little fingers. However, I feel its not as sharp as I expected. This will work fine if you need to bring a cutter onboard an airplane.

Love this little thing! Its very sharp but well protected against accidental scrapes. Dont leave it in your project bag with loose yarn though! I keep mine around my neck when in use and in a little bag with all my other tools when not in use. Lovely little design as well, it could probably pass for a pendant on a thick chain.

This is fabulous! It looks good enough to wear while traveling and I have my cutter with me for stitching. Perfect, all around.

These were quickly banned by TSA because it came to light that the decorative sides can easily be removed, exposing a very sharp circular blade that can be used in the same way box cutters can be used, to cause very serious injuries. Get folding scissors - they are 4 inches overall and 2.5 inches when closed up. They even have a loop so you can hang them on a keychain.

Borrowed my sisters Thread Cutter when I wanted to work on a sewing project on a flight. I wore it as a necklace so it was very handy and didnt have to worry about it getting confiscated by security. Its such a useful tool that I ordered one for myself!
