    Really nice suitcase that can really hold a lot of stuff! I love all the pockets, both on the outside and inside. The little pocket on the top of the outside is perfect for things you want to grab easily, that could get lost in the shuffle of the interior of the suitcase. I put my toothbrush and makeup there and its awesome when youre tired and dont want to bother digging around. I also really liked the mesh pockets inside, easy to see what youve got. Seems like a very durable suitcase that will stand the test of time and take a beating if needed. So far its been international and state side and holds up nicely. I havent checked it and always use it as my carry on suitcase. Have never had problems with it fitting in the overhead bins.

    I’m not a huge fan of the double compartments, separated by a thin mesh by zipper. The mesh netting already has a small hole in it. It makes packing weird and not that organized as I would like.

    Almost too many compartments and the extending handle when stored, as with most roller bags, limits the storage space inside. It could have been designed to be less obtrusive but likely would have sacrificed some durability (Ive noticed most of these handles are rectangular rather than circular, which makes them easy to hide)

    This is an excellent piece. Timbuk2 generally has rock solid quality and this bag is no exception. the XL size is very accommodating. I packed two weeks worth of gear into this bag for a recent work trip... so a mix of work attire, workout gear and casual stuff. No issues at all. Probably had room for more!

    So, I needed a new bag and one that had very good wheels. Enter this little number.

    I travel a ton, and this is the best bag I have owned. I have purchased $300-$400 bags, and this is much better. They have really designed one of the most functional bags on the markets;

    Had to replace a piece of luggage that was badly damaged/broken on Day 0.5 of a international trip. Was debating on getting a sub-$100 samsonite/travelpro, this timbuk2, or splurge on a lifetime/tank luggageworks stealth 22 pilot bag.

    The Timbuk2 Copilot Luggage Roller is a beautiful, well-built piece of luggage. In the photo, this is a nice looking piece of luggage. In person, this is a beautiful, classy piece of luggage that makes me wish that I could travel more just so that I had more reasons to use it. It has a classic yet contemporary look and the red top-stitching makes a bold statement. The suitcase opens up like a book with one hard side and one soft side, so you have protection for the items that need it without the unforgiving shape and bulk of a fully hardshell case. And, there are plenty of pockets to keep things separated, including two on the outside for items that need easy access. My favorite feature is the long, sturdy handle. I’m reasonably tall, but with my very long legs I often have to stoop-walk when using rolling luggage. The handle on the copilot luggage roller is long enough that it comes to my hip when fully extended. It also glides like butter even over rough carpeting and cobblestone. This is my new favorite piece of luggage.

    Yes, its lightweight but the wheels just arent up to the rigors of travel. Theyre a wheel wrapped around a wheel affair. On my second trip with this bag one of the outer wheels stripped off, so the bag is unbalanced and is hard to pull. Timbuk2 doesnt have a replacement wheel in stock (seriously?) so I may have to wait weeks to get a replacement. Well, Im off to another trip by then -- so I replaced this defective luggage with a beautiful TravelPro Platinum Elite Hardside bag and it is beautiful. Should have bought it in the first place.
