Very simple concept but it is still a delightfully competitive game. I wouldnt recommend it for just two people, though, as luck then seems to dictate more than strategy. But a great group option.

This game couldnt be any simpler to learn but packs a great deal of strategic thinking and fun into a small package. Its truly a great accomplishment to create a game that depth to complexity ratio. This is one of those games. You will find yourself agonizing over the best play to make but you wont have to have your mind clouded by trying to remember a ton of rules. This is one of those games that will having people saying: lets play that again. The games are not too long - just long enough. The artwork on the cards is intriguing and its simplicity allows the players to focus on the strategy of the game. After playing this game, I am very interested in finding a copy of the companys zoo themed game. Sometimes a successful game like this is an advertisement for another game. I look forward to finding and buying that one as well.

Coloretto has very simple rules: each time its your turn you either add a card to a stack or take a stack. You want a lot of cards of three colors, but not a lot of other cards. From these simple rules, comes a very elegant game, with enough strategy that playing randomly will get you into last place, but enough luck that youre unlikely to feel like you dont have a chance against an expert. This is an excellent way for serious family gamers to start or end a game night, or for very casual gamers its a great way to spend an evening.

this was a great addition to our family game night. There is enough strategy to keep adults and teens engaged. Younger players can enjoy it because simple strategies work and no knowlege of esoteric trivia are needed.

It is a nice quick game that you dont have to strain your brain on. Yet it can tease your intelligence if you want it to. I bought two, one to keep and one to give as a gift.

Instructions are a bit difficult to understand but once deciphered this is a great game. Strategy can be simplified or made more difficult by altering the method of play, and I have yet to beat my 10 and 7 year-old kids despite the 13+ age rating.

This is a family favorite. We play anytime people are together. Its great for kids all the way through adults. My only criticism is that it is a game that originated in another country (Germany I think!) and they werent as thorough as they needed to be with the instructions as written in English. We have had to look up a couple of points online.

This game is easy to learn, quick to play, and fun for all ages! My kids 6-14 loved it. I love any game, but the hubby hates long, complicated ones. This was perfect for us all.

My teenagers and I all enjoyed this great game. It was fast to learn and has a great mix of strategy and luck. My only wish is if there was some trading element to the game. Oh and its only 5 players... a 7 or 8 player expansion would be welcome Its small and fits in a purse too..
