I bought Coloretto for a friend but Im totally getting a copy for myself too! Its easy to learn and nice and fast-paced. A great game to play in between longer games like Risk or Settlers.

My teenagers and I all enjoyed this great game. It was fast to learn and has a great mix of strategy and luck. My only wish is if there was some trading element to the game. Oh and its only 5 players... a 7 or 8 player expansion would be welcome Its small and fits in a purse too..

This is a good game for friends and game nights because it doesnt require a lot of thinking or complicated strategy. I like this game because you have more control over your fate then most luck of the draw games. You can play a game in about 20 minutes. One note: this game seems insanely complicated at first, but actually its really easy. I recommend just playing a practice round to learn and youll pick it up quick.

I love this game and luckily I had learned it at a friends house because the instructions that game with my game are in German....

Coloretto is a very simple game to set up and learn. At its core its a trick taking game where you place colored cards in different piles and then push your luck by taking these piles at the right time to maximize the number of good cards you are collecting while trying to have your opponent take bad cards. These good and bad cards are determined by the the first three colors you collect (as colors beyond those three actually will count as negative points at the end of the game). What makes Coloretto so enjoyable is that its so easy to pick up and play. Theres enough strategy here for a light filler game to be engaging, but not too much that theres much analysis paralysis. so the game goes along fairly well. Coloretto is a really great intro to the whole concept of trick taking games which along with Cockroach Poker are perfect for younger players. More seasoned players may want to jump ahead to more advanced trick taking games like No Thanks!, Black Spy or Haggis, but Coloretto is a great place to start.

A great way to start or end Game Night. Quick, easy to learn and with plenty of opportunities to really try and ruin someones day by putting a red in the only column that doesnt have a red!

Great game. Bought this one as a gift. It is something that can include young children but isnt mind-blurring for adults. Highly recommend.

I bought this game along with 2 other card-type games hoping that my 7 year old daughter could participate as well. We all really liked this game. My dad loves to play games but doesnt like games that require too much thinking or strategy. He also likes games that move quickly. This game is just that. There is some strategy involved because you may pair certain colors that others are collecting with colors that they arent so that they will receive minus points. Each game lasted 20-30 minutes and we played again and again. It is about the size of 2 decks of cards so it is definitely portable. We will not only be playing at home but traveling with this game as well.

This game is extremely pleasant to play; quick and visually appealing. IMO, the three player option is best. It takes about 5 minutes to learn and may seem a little dull at first, but the strategy can run deep with lots of jockeying for position, shafting of the leader, and hail Mary passes when all else fails. Enjoy!
