> 3 dayThe 10 year anniversary edition by Rio Grande games and AbacusSpiele is the best version and includes the Gold wild card, as well as distinctive artwork on the cards (helpful if people playing have colorblindness).

> 3 dayThis game has a very different strategy than most other games you play. This is one of our top 5 family games that we go to again and again.

> 3 dayEasy rules and the game plays pretty fast. Fun with either 3, 4, or 5 players. Its not mindless luck like UNO... Coloretto provides a nice balance of luck and skill (the best player wont ALWAYS win)... its more about playing the odds, stretching your luck, and screwing up your opponents.

> 3 dayI bought this game along with 2 other card-type games hoping that my 7 year old daughter could participate as well. We all really liked this game. My dad loves to play games but doesnt like games that require too much thinking or strategy. He also likes games that move quickly. This game is just that. There is some strategy involved because you may pair certain colors that others are collecting with colors that they arent so that they will receive minus points. Each game lasted 20-30 minutes and we played again and again. It is about the size of 2 decks of cards so it is definitely portable. We will not only be playing at home but traveling with this game as well.
