use plumbers tape to get a good seal. otherwise works great. Put on 88 and 60 deep rims

Just make sure you buy plumbers tape (about $2 for a roll). Dont trust the rubber washers to hold air in over the long-run -- plumbers table should, though. Although, this isnt specific to the Conti valve extenders -- all valve extenders of this type are like that. ALWAYS BUY PLUMBERS TAPE!

will be using these with the XLC Thorn Resisstant tubes

pricey but necessary for deep rims. works great for me. I had no problems or issues. installed easy without problems

First off I want to point out that these didnt work for me as I thought they would have. I was setting up 50mm carbon rims, tubeless, forgetting the fact that I need the stems to be fastened to the wheel. These are not threaded to receive a holding nut and can easily be pushed into the rim causing air leakage. However, as a product these are a much better option than using extenders that screw over the presta core, where it is hard to check pressure with a standard gauge and needing to stick a piece of wire or spoke down the shaft the release air. The presta core screws right in to the stem allowing to easily achieve the a fore mentioned tasks. Definitely use a little Teflon tape on the threads before screwing into valve stem.

These seem great in theory, but they only seem to be compatible with Continental valves where the valve itself screws out of the valve stem. Trying to mount these on a Vittoria tubular tire in a deep section carbon rim just depressed the valve and made me lose all the pressure, yet wouldnt even thread onto the valve.

Does its job well. It fits perfectly and holds air.

Conti quality. Unlike other reviewers, I did not have any issues with getting them securely attached and with no leaking. Another brand required pipe dope to keep from leaking, these did not. I use them with Conti tubes, so maybe that’s the reason they work well. They do the job they were designed to do.

I appreciated finding these for a good fair price. They do what they are supposed to do and they are much better than other options like the silca valve extenders which can get stuck inside the valve port of some wheels (like my flo 60 carbon wheels)
