Continental Conti Valve Extender (Pack of 2)

First off I want to point out that these didnt work for me as I thought they would have. I was setting up 50mm carbon rims, tubeless, forgetting the fact that I need the stems to be fastened to the wheel. These are not threaded to receive a holding nut and can easily be pushed into the rim causing air leakage. However, as a product these are a much better option than using extenders that screw over the presta core, where it is hard to check pressure with a standard gauge and needing to stick a piece of wire or spoke down the shaft the release air. The presta core screws right in to the stem allowing to easily achieve the a fore mentioned tasks. Definitely use a little Teflon tape on the threads before screwing into valve stem.

Doing what theyre made for, no issues would buy again. You need a removable presta valve to run these

Easy to install but thats where the good part ends. The valve reciever end is thick and threaded and makes it difficult to clamp on many pumps. Gets clogged up easily with anti-puncture fluid, which makes changing tubes difficult because you cant deflate them all the way.

Works as advertised

In addition to this extender I tried Bontrager and Origin 8 extenders and the Conti one is the best. It comes in lots of sizes, they don’t rattle, they are easy to use, solid and inexpensive. I just wish they came in black. End your search and just buy this.

These are the valve extenders to get. Works perfectly, and light weight as well.

Very good and light. I remove a start because I find annoying that they force us to buy 2 when many people have a disc in the back and 808 in the front e.g.

i bought a set of zipp 808s and needed these to fit over my valves. they work exactly as described and now i dont have to worry about being stranded if i get a flat!

Exactly what was needed for the deeper Zipp rims. Removable valve core tubes and these extenders make everything so much easier. I wish you could buy different lengths in a set, but this was a huge improvement. 48mm valves on the tubes and 60mm extensions fit the 808 rear wheel well but are long on the 404 front wheel.
