Reflects the sun away and it is very shaded underneath. It is so much cooler and darker than using a regular umbrella. The umbrella is very well made, opens easily with a press of a button snd closes with an easy pull down. I am more than satisfied with the Coolibar umbrella!

Worked perfectly on my Hawaiian vacation but a bit tight in crowds with wide span when open. Wish it were collapsible, too.

we needed it for an outside weekend convention, used by my son and he was happy. gave full protection from the sun and was not invasive to other sitting nearby. a very satisfying purchase.

do not worry this parasol is sturdy and protective, heavy duty if you will perfect for sun or rain. good for the price

I bought this umbrella before heading to Mobile to participate in a State Tennis tournament. Mobile in June, is not known for cool temperatures during that time. So I bought this to keep cool and stay out of the sun. My teammates and I all took turns using the umbrella which worked great! It not only kept the sun out of our eyes, but it was definitely cooler with the reflective shade it provided. It also works well on rainy days!

Umbrella doesnt fully close when you close it. It stays partially open and really gets in the way. Its made very cheap and doesnt have a proper air vent so even the slightest breeze pulls it heavily.

The Coolibar umbrella was just as I expected it to be since I had been under one before I ordered it. It feels 10-15 degrees cooler than an ordinary umbrella in the hot sun of Florida. A good value.

This umbrella really blocks the suns rays and heat. It is a must have item in Florida! I bought multiple sizes and use them daily. The larger size is great when I walk the dog, walk on the beach or have to stand in the sun a long time. I use the small collapsible one for everyday use especially for walking from the car to the store. My only complaint is that it takes too much effort to close the small one.

I live in Arizona and I’m out a lot walking from door to door. This Umbrella is a lifesaver. You can totally tell the difference when you’re using it at least a 10° difference. Fall protection.

HUGE, gorgeous, well made, very effective. Why not 5 stars? Its HEAVY.
