> 3 dayIt’s great option for individuals who need an extra screen to work on when using a MacBook. The monitor is lightweight and portable, which makes it easy to take with you wherever you go. I perfer one extra scrren just for my own preference. Fit me MacBook 13, which is good enough to allow for easy multitasking, but small enough to fit comfortably in a backpack or laptop bag. Very slim and lightweight.

> 3 dayThe CopGain is a beautiful piece of equipment. It was delivered in a lovely box with good protection. Yet, even the box it was in looked high-speed and sleek. I was even impressed with how the CopGain was arranged in its box. Everything was laid out elegantly and logically. Even the included instructions are explicit, well righten, and have some handy graphics. Before trying to install CopGain, I suggest you read the instructions carefully. You are given a couple of options as to how to proceed. Also, while not incredibly complicated, you want to install the CopGain correctly to get the most out of it. Now once installed... It is just a beauty to behold; having that extra-screen real estate available at the flick of a panel is so addictive. The way it is integrated into your MacBooks frame makes it feel like it was included in the design from the start. However, you do need to be aware of two issues with the CopGain. First, be mindful that the CopGain is only 1080p or just HD resolution. If you are doing any kind of graphics-intensive work, looking from the resolution of the MacBook screen to the CopGain and back again can be a little disorienting until you get used to it. The other thing you want to be mindful of is that the CapGain does use a precious USB-C port. It is worth their compromises, but you dont want to be surprised by them.

> 3 dayI wanted to like this product so much, but I had to return it after giving it a try. I love how sturdy and sleek it was, and the hidden cord was such a good touch. Very well designed with the exception of a few things: the screen is not bright/not the best resolution (especially if youre in the design field) and it is HEAVY. It would make my laptop screen flop back and it wasnt feasible to keep this attached at all times.

Greater than one weekIt fits nicely and helps out when I need a second monitor. It does add some weight to the laptop but its expected when adding another screen. The resolution is 1080 but at that resolution then the text is microscopic so the recommended is some other screen size that I didnt like. Its ok on brightness but nothing to write home about. I do like how it can stand up vertical if taken off the back of the laptop which is pretty cool. It comes with a metal screen protector and a nice fabric type one. Both have magnets and stick magnetically. Its pretty good if you need a second screen and dont want to carry two separate things.

Greater than one weekThe screen quality on this is just bad, I was very disappointed in it and for the price of close to 300 dollars I was expecting much better

> 3 dayAs a Mac user, I really enjoy the system, however I also suffered since the screen is a little smaller. This external monitor is such a helpful tool when travel and work from home. Used one time for travel, a very helpful and solid product, attached to the back for my macbook’s monitor and stay on it.

> 3 dayTheres so much to like about this kit: It arrives very well packaged/protected. It fits the target MacBooks *perfectly*. It attaches physically to the MacBook using a very clever mounting system. It attaches electronically to the MacBook using Thunderbolt/DisplayPort and appears as would any external monitor. The kit includes both a soft and a hard screen protector. This kit also isnt perfect: The display is heavier than Id wish and expect. This is especially so when the hard screen protector is attached (as is wise when putting the laptop+external display in a backpack). When stowed, the screen (especially when theres a screen cover on) menaces pulling the MacBooks lid too far back. When deployed, this outrigger screen pulls the MacBook to one side. Ive cobbled together wedges to support the imbalanced and wobbling bits in the short term. After Im clear on the various problem states, Ill probably end up 3D-printing a custom support. Getting the resolution properly set and the color properly calibrated has been a bear. Certainly, recent versions of macOS are unnecessarily fussy about HiDPI settings and color calibration. But macOS is also THE target market for this monitor.

> 3 dayBeen looking for a portable monitor for my work laptop so I can more easily use it outside of my home office and was excited to run across this. However... this screen is really heavy and cumbersome. It was difficult to affix to my laptop and kept falling off, until I found a better temporary adhesive to keep it on without it slipping. The screen is also quite dim, even after I tried to adjust the brightness. All in all, Im a bit disappointed.
