> 24 hourGot this with my new tablet and was looking forward to giving it a go. Unfortunately the colours are all wrong on my main monitor. The canvas is always a pale yellow though it insists that it is in fact white. Switching to a secondary monitor fixes the issue after a moment but its not an issue with the main monitors colour settings as white appears fine in other programs. Furthermore the yellow remains after moving over to the other monitor until after the window-drag has been released. If I had to guess I would say somewhere in the software someone thought they would try to colour correct for the monitor and got it wrong.

> 24 hourCorel Painter Essentials 5 is a huge step up from Microsoft Paint! This program is fun to play with and even though its supposed to be a stripped down version, the programs suits my needs tremendously and then some. I played with Painter 5 Essentials for about two weeks messing with photos, which was fun but after I borrowed a friends Wacom Bamboo tablet, the program is just amazing!

> 24 hourPainter Essentials 5 is a drawing and painting program thats designed to simulate the effects of textured paper and brushes, so you can produce realistic art. There are a few good, unique things about it, but theres also a few issues I encountered. Just so you know, Im a Photoshop Elements gal. Ive used PSE for all my website graphics, as well as photographs and hobby art. Thats what Im used to, and thats what I compared PE5 to.
