Very good as expected

I had this for about two months and I got an E1 error. I went online to the official support and I follow all the steps. I opened everything, checked the wires, did everything the video told me to do, looked good. Kept printing, got a weird smell and another E1 error. Opened it up and saw whats in the picture. I contacted support but I guess I can only get a v4.2.2 motherboard as a replacement and the only solution was that my power supply was on the wrong voltage (which it wasnt since its been running correctly since I got the printer in December.) I dont think I would recommend this product. Looking online this issue isnt that uncommon. It is quite dangerous though.

Amazingly quiet, no stepper noise at all, just the sound of the fans running.

I purchased this as my Ender 3V2 had the layer shift issue associated with the 4.2.2 board. I simply swapped out the board and had the appropriate 4.2.7 firmware ready on an SD card. Inserted the SD card, powered on the printer, it flashed the new firmware and I was off printing.

This was my second board from these people, i returned the first one because it would immediately stop extruding. I sent it back and got a replacement, when the second one did the same thing I emailed the company for tech support, their suggestion was to try a different SD card... After some internet sleuthing i found out there was a conflict in the firmware with S3D. Ive been using Cura as a work around not being able to use my expensive slicer unless i flash the board with new firmware.. Then today on the very last day to send it back almost exactly 1 month after purchasing the board stopped working completely. Very displeased. I didnt even get a thank you from the company when i sent in the fix to the original Extrusion issue.. I ordered another board from Creality.. 0 for 2 Comgrow.. ill be avoiding your products from now on and passing it on to my printing groups.

UPDATE - it went into a boot loop the second time I put power to it. Seems like Ive waited weeks for this thing to work, with utter disappointment every time. They mean silent when they say it. I can hear the rollers on the extrusions over the motors, seriously. This is the one thing Ive gotten from Amazon lately that wasnt a complete disappointment.

I recently got an Ender 3 3D printer and ordered this board to help with the noise as I live in an apartment. While it does nothing for fan noise, with this board the stepper motors on the printer are nearly silent, a vast improvement over the stock motherboard. It is a drop in replacement, though some of the wires are labeled poorly and dont have much slack, and the firmware is pre-loaded. I would happily recommend to anyone with an Ender 3.

My product caught on fire a week into using it, everything was wired correctly and working, i own multiple printers and have had these boards replaced in half of them so now it draws for a big concern, quality control is clearly shotty so i can’t recommend, they work great when they’re not catching fire, i understand this is always a possibility but a week in is just insane to me, hopefully i can get a return as it’s been close to month and i no longer have the box for it, but it also destroyed my BL touch in the process, so i got a bitter taste in my mouth, i really hope you guys can ensure these products wont do this consistently to others, thankfully i was home at the time and caught it pretty early in.

The constant high pitch sound that comes from the stock stepper motors started to drive me insane after a few months. This board is an easy drop into place (about 45-60min install due to the insane amount of glue that comes on the stock board) and the TMC 2208 stepper drivers are silent. The fans are now the loudest thing on the machine and totally tolerable. Must have!

OMG!!!! I cannot believe how quiet my ender 3 is now!! You can only hear the part fan!!!
