> 3 dayAfter one washing the socks turned a dingy yellow color. Besides this they are very comfortable and stay up without inching down.

> 3 dayThe elastic at the top did not stretch out - which means the sock stays up I was so pleased with the all around quality of these socks that I immediatley ordered more

> 3 dayThese Darn Tough socks are the best socks I have purchased. They are very light and breathable. You do not feel any of the seams poking at your feet. They go over the calf and they dont slip down at all.

> 3 dayI initially purchased these for a winter trip abroad, needing something warm and comfortable but also something that wouldnt need frequent washing. They quickly became my favorite socks and I eventually ordered several additional pairs, along with a few other styles in the Darn Tough lineup. These socks are so good they have literally ruined me for cotton socks. For travelers, especially one-bag travelers, packing fewer clothes and getting longer use out of them is super handy. And because these socks are merino wool they can be worn many times before needing a wash, depending on your personal level of foot odor and sweating. And when they DO need a wash, they are super easy to clean in the hotel sink with soaps meant for merino wool (dont use harsh detergents!), and they dry in about 16 hours. These socks are shockingly soft and well-cushioned. If youve never owned merino wool products before, fear not - this is not the scratchy, itchy, ragged wool of the past. Merino wool is incredibly soft and comfortable against the skin, much more comfortable than cotton! The biggest potential drawback of merino wool clothing is that there CAN be durability issues. But these socks are blended with nylon which greatly improves durability and a touch of spandex for stretch. If you have size 12 or larger feet, definitely get the XX-Large size.
