It is a good investment, perfect size for a room, I love how this product works and I am very satisfied.

Works well

I live in Southern California, so I cannot write this review in terms of how well it helps with the humidity of the desert air. However, I steam clean my apartment carpet once a month and it takes a minimum of two full days to even see the carpet BEGIN to dry. The complete drying process must take somewhere between 4-6 days (depending on the weather, how often I step into the room to grab something, if I have the window open and using the AC, etc, etc). I started to look for a dehumidifier to help speed up the drying process. I absolutely hate waiting for the carpet to dry because I cant walk across it for hours at a time, and mold began to develop in the carpet (I can smell the moldiness develop = which is not good for my respiratory health). Previously Ive already tried opening up the windows, using a fan, using the AC and none of them really helped dry the carpet. It was just a wet mess. Oh my goodness. I just steam cleaned the carpet this weekend, excited to use the dehumidifier. Now I cant wait to write a review on it. I steam cleaned my carpet in the morning around 8 - 9 am. I turned on the dehumidifier and left a rotating fan on (the fan that rotates side to side). By the afternoon (I couldnt believe it) the carpet was already 40-50% dried! Something I would have had to wait for a full day to pass. By 4-6 pm, the carpet was 90% dried (with some partially moist patches here and there). The dehumidifier must have pulled like 3 cm of water? Barely anything BUT the thing really help speed up the drying process in about 12 hours. Again, I cant say if it helped with the humidity in the air but it definitely helped with my carpet drying process (which is the real reason why I bought the dehumidifier in the first place). I am looking forward to steam cleaning my carpet next month! **The room that I used the dehumidifier in is about 100 square feet.

The product works excellently, it picks up all the moisture in the room, I recommend it and it keeps the room smelling nice.

I had a small flood in a utility closet. Afterwards, some areas of the concrete were not drying. I also had concerns about mildew so I needed a dehumidifier. This one by Makayla was right for the size. After setting it up, the concrete dried very quickly. Ive left it running pretty much non-stop ever since (a few months) and there havent been any functional problems. And admittedly, I get a kick out of those lights reflecting through the water. Good night light for the utility closet. My only real issue with the product is that it makes a terrible ruckus when it is first turned on after emptying a full tank of water. This did not occur the very first time it was used. Regardless of which mode you use, theres a loud whirring type of mechanical whine. So far, the sound has always gone back to normal after a few minutes. Except for this start-up issue, both modes sound fine and dont bother me. Although there were instructions not to mention this, I received a post card in the mail asking me to write a five star review. It also said that if I had any issue with the product, I should e-mail them first. Works great and is pretty quiet, only when ur in the room u can obviously hear the small fan but it’s not distractingly loud. Collects a lot of water, even after 1-2 hours of it on, I have half an inch!

I received this product and it was nice and compact for my bathroom. I could set on my sink. it kept the humidity down in my bathroom to a reasonable degree.

Ive had this for quite awhile now and before I got this (we dont have a fan in the bathroom) mold would start growing on the ceiling from lack of not drying out completely. However now we dont get mold in there. It works wonderful and have no regrets on this purchase
