Im an artist and craftsman and recently built myself a large (48W X 96L X 36H) worktable. To make my studio space more flexible, I wanted to put it on wheels so I could move it around. The table is heavy, constructed of plywood and solid lumber. The bottom section is cabinets all around which will be filled with storage for supplies, so the entire thing will weigh several hundred pounds. I want it to move easily so I needed sturdy, easy rolling wheels. Also, I didnt want to spend too much as, as always, Im on a budget. After a thorough search online, I found these and Im so happy with them. They are really sturdy, roll very easily and quietly, and my impression is that they will last a long time. The price was really good for the four and Im thrilled.

Im very impressed with these, especially for the price. They are very smooth rolling and seem very sturdy. My only concern with them is the gap between the wheel and the hub where the bearings are, seems like a good place for crud to collect when using them in a dusty shop environment. I think they could have been designed to cover that up to prevent problems, but time will tell if its really an issue.

Replaced my factor tool box wheels

Easy to lock, easy to install, easy to maneuver

I have three 2x4 Basics workbenches that are 4’x8’ so they’re large and get pretty heavy. I wanted to add wheels to them so I can move them around easily and these worked great for that purpose. I simply added 8” 2x4 doublers and used 1/4” wood screws to attach the wheels at each corner.

Not that heavy duty. Maybe good for push cart, nothing over a couple hundred pounds. No good for decent sized work bench.
