07-04-2025Most of my car repair tools are in a Craftsman 26 inch triple-stack toolbox. As much as I want a 72 toolbox, the Craftsman is all I really need now that I work only at home. But I still have a lot of stuff in it, and even more stuff hanging off the sides of it. Its pretty heavy, and while the factory casters rolled well, only 2 of them swiveled. Getting the box into tight spaces was a chore. I bought these because they all swivel, they have a combined weight rating of 1800 lbs (450 apiece) and they have a brake to keep my toolbox from rolling down the road and onto the highway. Installation was a snap. I was able to use the factory mounting holes and hardware. I had to space them out a bit so that they would clear the lip on the bottom of the box but that was easily accomplished with a few shims. Overall they work well. It isnt easy getting a tall, heavy toolbox to roll or swivel. The polyurethane wheels make it a bit harder because they deform slightly with the weight and have higher friction when trying to swivel. The factory rigid plastic wheels rolled more smoothly so theres a tradeoff for the extra maneuverability. Its certainly easier to maneuver the box around corners and into tight spots, and thats what I wanted so Ill live with the extra effort required to get the Tower O Tools rolling. So far the casters havent developed any flat spots despite being stationary for weeks at a time. Im pretty happy with them and may get a set for another tool chest that I have. The brake works well and the casters dont mark up the floor as they roll. Overall, these are probably as good as it gets unless I pay a lot of money for a set of very heavy duty casters.

> 3 dayInformation in website did not describe the bolt pattern and for sure it did not match the ones I replaced. So drilling a couple of new holes was necessary. Very pleased with the casters now under my hydraulic lift table.
