This is the BEST floss and I’ve tried many, many kinds (including Cocofloss). Works for tights spots and large spots. I don’t particularly like the cardamom flavor, but it is pretty faint. The issue, as many have already written about, is the new cardboard packaging, which is larger, more cumbersome, and much more delicate than the old plastic packaging. I appreciate the intent, but using paper to package something that is likely to get wet is not a great idea. If I can find an old plastic container, I plan to try to “refill” it, as suggested by another reviewer. In the meantime, I have left a comment on the manufacturer’s site and I encourage others to do the same! I hope they come out with easily refillable non-paper packaging instead.

The new packaging is terrible! It falls apart and don’t even touch it with damp hands because the cardboard disintegrates. Would love to refill my old plastic case. That was a great little case. Especially for travel & work.

They changed the floss container to a horrible cardboard design that is frustrating to use. They also didnt seem to consider that water destroys cardboard. Not worth $4 a roll. BTW, if you still have one of the original plastic containers, you can pull the cover off and discard the old empty roll. Then, extract the full roll of floss from the junk cardboard container and put it in the plastic one. Put the cover back on. Good to go.

The floss is scrubbier than the slipperier types so does a better job cleaning your teeth in my opinion and experience! The flavor is minimal and pleasant.

this is the closest dupe Ive been able to find to the discontinued gentle gum care floss. It tastes/smells oddly like fruity pebbles cereal and I actually enjoy that.

This floss was recommended by my dentist as being more effective at removing tartar or food material between teeth. It expands when wet and has a cardamom taste. I really appreciate the stiff paper container, instead of floss’ s usual one-time-use plastic case. I just wish this floss were less expensive.

Have used this wonderful floss for years . . . this new cheap paper dispenser is awful. . . the paper package rips easily, and if gets the slightest bit wet, it disintegrates . . Every evening when I use it, I promise myself to find another floss that I dont have to wrestle with at the end of my day . . . PLEASE bring back the original packaging.

If you are long in the tooth, have periodontic problems, recession, or big gaps around the roots, its important for your overall health to floss meticulously. This floss makes the task so much easier! And, it has a pleasant scent of cardamom. Thank you. Dr. Tung!

Ive used other types of floss. I do know the Dr. Tung brand and know it is good. My local health food store does not carry the floss. I took a chance and ordered it online. What a great experience. Knowing ayurvedic herbs and loving Indian food, I thought the taste was great! Overall, the product is excellent. The seller, through Amazon, was prompt, and I got a great buy because of the bulk packaging.
